Smut Swap 2019

Dearest smuttographer,

Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I am looking forward to seeing whatever you create!

I consider all prompts as optional, but I added some ideas under each freeform below in case you might find them helpful. Some are longer than others, but all are things I would love to receive! If none of my prompts work for you or you’d rather just work with a likes list, please feel free to use my general likes as something you can base your fic/art on, and ignore my prompts entirely. Some of my requests have more prompts than others, but I assure you that I would love any of them!

In fact, feel free to be creative and create what you want as long as it doesn’t cross my DNW. I love everything from M-rated implicit smut fic to E-rated full-on smut-bangs, so feel free not to hold back on my account. If you are wondering if you can twist prompts/take them in different directions/etc., the answer is always an enthusiastic yes. Whether it be something sad, scary, fun, or just plain weird, as long as it avoids my DNW I am always down to play

I know for all three of my smut swap requests this year, I've requested mythological characters who, other than in Hadestown, don't really have a set "look" to them. Please feel free to interpret them as you wish. I love when people make characters different ethnicities/races/backgrounds/genders than their "canon" forms (trans included!), and while I love the classical versions that look just like they sailed off a terra-cotta pot from 2,000 years ago or classical art from the Renaissance, well, I like variety too and modern looks applied to ancient worlds are quite interesting to me. Please feel free to let your inspiration guide you as you see fit.

Prompts:

Hadestown

Hades and Persephone dancing.

I love the chemistry between these two. The way they look at one another is simultaneously so very “I love you” and, also, “but you are impossible, and I would stab you if I could, and you would know you deserved it.” They are so very different in so many ways, yet they clearly love one another at the same time; I love how their dynamic is a mix of cruelty and passionate love. Despite the fact they are so wildly different – different elements, different viewpoints, different priorities — but they belong together, in the end. Their relationship isn’t the most, well, functional — but I don’t think they’re entirely dysfunctional either. Their romance just has some erm, bite, in it.

Freeforms:

Age Difference: Hades is a LOT older than Persephone in most retellings and its quite obviously true in this one; while this show plays a bit fast and loose with Greek mythology, “Persephone in her mother’s garden” suggests she certainly wasn’t exactly as old as he was when they got together. Does he have angst about being an older man in the bedroom, or is he into it? Does she mind that he’s quite a bit older than her, or does she prefer an older man?

Angry Sex: Because even as furious as Persephone is during the musical when he comes to pick her up early, she’s also giving him the bedroom eyes the whole time. These two have definitively fucked while angry — is it something they enjoy? Is it different from their usual sex? Does it become make-up sex, or do they just remain furious the whole way through?

authority kink: I can see this one as a kink either might have. Hades’ is clearly used to being the one in control of pretty much everything and expects to be obeyed; Persephone is someone who I can see getting off on that, on taking his directions and getting praise for it…but I can also see Hades the very frustrated but besotted sub in this kink; she gets off on it because he really would do anything for her, and even if he worries it makes him less of a man (because Hades’ viewpoint I think, is ancient in many ways), he also really loves the way his wife looks at him when he kneels for her, and loves how powerful she is.

Bottom keeps socks on during otherwise nude sex: Hades…absolutely would do this. I mean, the underworld is cold and there’s mist everywhere, Persephone, and it’s not like they ever do anything with their feet, right? I honestly would love crack fic where Persephone is like this is hot and everything but why are your socks on and it winds up in them getting into an argument during sex.

Chained to a Desk: Hades is a god damn workaholic and I can absolutely see Persephone deciding if he likes his office so damn much, well, FINE, he can stay there — but she’ll be making use of him as she pleases. And he’ll just have to enjoy it, even if she takes her damn time making him give her what he wants.

Collars: There’s an idea that was in the earlier version of the show where when Persephone is in the underworld, she wears a TON of jewelry that…Hades happens to mention during Chant II (“Hang a chain around her throat/Made of many carat gold/Shackle her from wrist to wrist/With sterling silver bracelets”) — so I can absolutely see him getting the idea that he’ll put a literal collar on her to show all the Gods up top that she’s his. And then, of course, in bed, he gets really into the idea of her wearing it — even if she isn’t wearing anything else. How does she feel about it? Does she mind wearing something like that if it puts him at ease? Or does she feel it’s untrusting on his part and that he's turning a wife into a slave?

Competitiveness in Bed: Because Persephone is young and he is stubborn enough to feel like he absolutely has something to prove when it comes to satisfying a young woman, and she isn’t going to be outperformed by him. Basically, I just want them to go wild in trying to fuck one another to exhaustion; does anyone win? Is it a competition that’s explicit between them (rules, declared goals?), or is it just a private wish, where Hades is like oh yeah she’s coming six times before I even get her into my bed?

couple where one partner is too energetic or horny for the other to keep up with: I can see this one either way, given the separation: Is Hades too much for her coming down from summer to winter, demanding to have her in his bed way past the point where she’s comfortable having sex anymore? Or is she young and all too willing to go, and Hades is a bit older and tired and would really just cuddle, thanks? How do they navigate the situation?

Cunnilingus: I always love cunnilingus, and I think given Hades control freak tendencies, he absolutely would enjoy pleasing/torturing her with his tongue until she breaks. I’m not sure, however, it’s something he’d come to naturally — he’s old as hell, after all (heh), and I can see him thinking doing anything for a woman’s pleasure is “unmanly” and makes him a bottom/womanly; I’d love to see Persephone convince him that’s wrong for thinking that makes him anything less of a man. Or just a PWP with him eating her out until she comes.

Dancing: Because they absolutely can dance, and there’s no way under on earth that their dancing in the show didn’t lead to them banging the hell out of one another as soon as it was possible for them to do so. I love the idea of dancing as seduction/foreplay for them and would love to know how daring they get before they wind up dancing horizontally.

death kink: for Persephone, because when you’re literally married to the god of the underworld, this is probably a requirement for a happy marriage. Does seeing him on his day job make her all hot and bothered? Is part of the reason she’s mad about Hadestown the fact that he isn’t doing any ah, soul-collecting? Or does she perhaps enjoy the feel of his powers, since she’s probably the one thing he cannot kill down there? What does it feel like to be held by death, and how does she like it?

Drunk Sex: Persephone takes a lot of fruit of the vine downstairs, and there’s a scene where she and Hades get into a little grabby fight over said wine bottle, so clearly they both like to imbibe. Is it easier to ignore the issues in their relationship? Do they drink because it gives them a sense of closeness? What is drunk sex like for them? Do they like it better, or do they both wish one or the other was sober? Or is only one of them drunk, and the other not, perhaps, minding that much — and a bit ashamed they’re relieved that them being drunk makes it easier?

Femdom: I love the idea of femdom in general, and I think there are a lot of possibilities with Hades, given how much he wants control — how would he react when he gets it taken away from him? Is this a punishment Persephone has fashioned for him for being an ass about something or another, or is just a way to spice things up in the bedroom? Is he nervous/angry/eager? How does he handle her calling the shots? How far does she go – binding him up? Blindfolded? Commands? Topping? Pegging?

Desperate Arousal: Because if you haven’t seen your spouse for six months and you want them, you absolutely are desperate. Does Hades ever try to have her on the upper world before they even get off the train? Does he make sure they have a private car for this very reason? How does Persephone handle it when she’s barely said hello and he’s already shoving her into his lap? Or is it her who is desperate for him — because forcing a nature goddess to abstain for six months of plants blossoming is just cruel? And if so, how does he feel about this?

Reunion Sex: I’d love to see how their reunions go when they’re not squabbling literally on the way down to Hadestown; what sort of sex do they have? Is it slow and tender, or all teeth and bite? They don’t seem like the type to easily communicate their feelings in words…how do they show it in actions? Does it help to resolve the argument they have “every year” or does it only make it worse?

Coming Untouched: Hades has a very deep voice and he can clearly be very charming with it. Does he ever use it on his wife in bed to try to make her come without ever touching her? Can she do the same to him?

Voice Kink: Because we’ve all heard Patrick Page hit them lowwww bass notes, and I can’t imagine Persephone is any less affected than us mortals. What did she think the first time she heard him talk? Does she love the noises he makes during sex? Does he know what a powerful effect he has on her? And if so, how might he take advantage?

Older Virgin/Experienced Younger Partner: Because the story about Hades in her mother’s garden honestly feels to me like they were both virgins, or at least that he was: begging her to “lay her in the dirt”? Dark seed flying around? Literally bedding a girl as a way of making her his wife? Hades seems to be seems to be less experienced, so…what if he’s the virgin in the garden? How does Persephone handle it?

knowing your partner's body as well as your own:They’ve been married since the dawn of time; how does sex work when you know someone that well, and they know your body that well? I’d love to see something noting how well one of them knows the other’s body, and kinking about doing all the things that the other loves more than anything else, and how they’d not find this with someone else — even if the other person can be pretty annoying, sometimes, they're their lover.

Pegging - Face to Face: Similar to the femdom prompt, I’d love to see Persephone decide to take charge in the bedroom and peg the hell out of him. I can’t imagine he’s into it at first — he’s someone who loves power, after all — but he’d do anything for her, and I can see her absolutely fucking him into the bed/ground/nearest surface. How does she get him to submit? Is he turned on by it? What’s it like for him, being penetrated? Does he have the hang-ups the ancient Greeks did about it, or to his surprise, does he come to quite enjoy it? How does Persephone feel about being inside of him, instead of the other way around? Does this intimacy give their relationship a new je ne sais quoi?

Body Worship: I'd love to see Persephone get some body worship from Hades. He puts her through a lot in this musical, and he really needs to apologize. What better way than by reminding her every bit of what he loves about her? I’d also love to see the reverse as well - he has a lot of doubts and anxieties but Persephone can probably help dispel them, and what better way than through love?

Sex with a (Literal) God: Hades and Persephone are very much portrayed as otherworldly versus Eurydice and Orpheus. How does her sex life with Hades differ versus any relationship they might have had in the past with mortals? Is it different? If so how?

Pregnancy: These two have a lot of damage, and I’d love to see how having a pregnancy might change things between Hades’ anxieties and Persephone’s; would having a baby make their issues worse? Better? Would either of them want to be a parent? What does a godly pregnancy look like, anyway? Do they have sex while she’s pregnant? Is the kid going to be born in the underworld, or does Persephone have to stay even longer upstairs with mother nature while Hades stews about it?

Greek Mythology

image of Hades and Persephone underworldin it up

Oh man, I love this story so much. There are so many ways to interpret it: I know this story has a ton of different possibilities and I'm fine with just about all of them, though I prefer all the characters to have at least some redeeming features even if they're the villain (eg if Demeter is overprotective of her daughter, it's not because of a fear of her daughter escaping her abusive control but because she genuinely loves her daughter and doesn't want her to go through what Demeter did; if Hades is holding her captive, it's not because he's a cruel man who just wants to rape her every night). Is Hades her abductor or her lover? Does Persephone love him, or is she a scared girl offering her body to try to make peace with the underworld? They seemed to have become a quite popular #goal for ancient Greek mortal couples (judging by the amount of pottery that they’re on as a couple), so how do they go from abducted/abductor to husband and wife? I’m absolutely curious about what their sex life would be like, and would love to see any version of it.

Freeforms:
Erotic Myth: I would absolutely love an erotic retelling of the Hades/Persephone myth, or at least some part of it. Does she seduce him as a way of gaining some power in the underworld? Does he feel the need to consummate their marriage asap, and if so, how does she deal with that?

Married Sex: They’ve been married for literally forever; how does married sex change for them through time? Is it clumsy at first but gets better? Is it always awkward but they keep at it? Do either of them really enjoy it? Does their sex have any kind of function as regards their functions as gods? <

Generational Differences Leading to Incompatibility in Sex: Hades is old, old as dirt compared to Persephone; he was born to rule over his father’s generation (and in a rather twisted way, this comes true – he is the master of Tartarus) aka the Titans, who are huge…and Hades is frequently described as being either tall or buff in ancient sources. And then you have Persephone, who is slim-ankled and described in more uh…dainty terms. So: Physically, are they compatible in terms or sexual organs? If not, how do they get around that to have some form of sexual relationship? If it's a size issue between them, are there ways that become manageable? Do either develop a kink for the other's body?

In a different way of looking at this prompt, I also love the idea of Hades as an eldritch death horror as well; feel free to make him as freaky as you’d like (or her: we stan for eldritch equality in this household). I’d mostly like an exploration of how two people who literally cannot have sex for whatever reason somehow manage to have a sexual relationship anyways.

Fertility Rituals: They literally are parted for six months as part of one – do they have to have sex as a fertility ritual when they reunite or when they part? How do they feel about this? Is it a public role or a private one? Does the ritual sex reflect their regular sexual life, or is this another dimension that has different roles/reactions/etc for them?

knowing your partner's body as well as your own: They’ve been married for hundreds if not thousands of years, so I can’t imagine that they don’t know one another’s bodies like the backs of their own hands…yet they also have an enforced separation for half of a year. Does their memory of the other’s body help get them through those six months alone, either as a masturbatory aid or a promise of what’s to come? How does their sex life change due to knowing one another so intimately?

Dubious consent because loyal A will obey any order B gives them: I see this mostly for Hades; Persephone has a lot of options as far as other men (or women!) she could have as her lover, but Hades really is far more limited given where he lives and how often he is alone. I can see him absolutely willing to obey whatever she wants him to do, so long as she promises never to leave him. What would she make him do? That said, if you want to do this trope with Persephone, by all means! How does he get her to a point where she’ll obey his every command? What does he do with that information?

Body Worship: Hades literally fancied her so much he abducted her from a field the second she takes his …flower. Clearly, the man was eager to get…touchy. Is he into how she looks, or would he be eager to touch pretty much anyone? How does she react to getting this body worship from him – does it endear him to her? Or is she frightened by the passion that he shows her?

Pegging - Face to Face: Hades is an incredibly old god and probably has the Greek mindsets about sex that were common in ancient Greece: namely, that the older man does the penetrating, and being penetrated makes him less of a man/king/etc. But Persephone is his wife, and he loves her, and when/if she insists upon it, I can see him deciding to indulge her in this. How does he reconcile his feelings about it? Does he enjoy the act or feel constantly uncomfortable? How does she react to him being so vulnerable for her?

Wedding Night: I’m curious on this one — I can see a wedding night fic when he first abducts her, because I see Hades in a hurry to try to quickly consummate his marriage, lest Zeus go back on his word — how would Persephone feel about this? Would she want to hold off, or would she go along with it, figuring it is best to keep her abductor happy, even if she does not love him? Or, perhaps, would their wedding night not be celebrated until after she’s eaten the pomegranate, eg accepted this marriage (or was tricked into it)? If this is the case, is it post-six months with Demeter, or does she go back with Hades after Zeus declares the compromise between them? If so, what does their wedding night look like? Is either nervous?

Younger Virgin/Experienced Older Partner: Hades doesn’t have a lot of paramours pre-Persephone, but he has a couple myths about Minthe and Leuke that seem to predate her (or at least not mention her in Leuke’s case, and in Minthe’s, it’s mentioned that Minthe thought Hades would go back to her after he abducted Persephone), so it’s possible that he is a bit more experienced than she is. How does he use that experience to help make her losing her virginity a …easier process? Does she enjoy his ministrations, or is she too busy worrying about how she’s going to get out of this situation? (Or, perhaps, if you want to write their first time with them more in love with one another, does she worry about where he got all this experience?)

Virgin makes the first move: I see Persephone’s one defining characteristic in the Homeric Hymn to Demeter is that she loves power; she jumps for joy when Hades gives her his tîmai (worship) and that's really the only reaction we get out of her other than hugging her mom. I would love to see Persephone basically decide to jump the hell out of his bones as a way of gaining power in the underworld, because she might be far away from home but she absolutely isn’t going to take this abduction lying down (cuz she’s gonna be on top?). How does he react to this? Is he stunned? Worried? Into it? Shaken by it?

Size Difference: Hades is almost always described of as huge or big and Persephone…is not, and he has to be powerful enough to be able to pick her up and throw her into his chariot. Whether you take this as genital size difference (I mean, Hades is born from the Titans, and the Titans were enormous) or just she’s very tiny and he’s very big in terms of heights – how do they navigate that? Is he afraid he’ll break her? Is she worried he’ll hurt her?

Incest - only one partner is aware of the relationship: I’m curious about if Persephone ever really knew that he was her uncle (on both her fraternal and maternal side at that!); he doesn’t seem to have really had much interaction with the family above (that we know of) and it’s entirely possible that she might not know. Would he want her to know, or leave his family ties to her out of his seduction? Would she be excited to be kidnapped by this foreign god, or incredibly frightened? How would she feel when the truth was revealed?

Intentional Incest: The Greek gods tended to keep it…in the family. Did Hades choose Persephone as his bride, and if so, why Persephone? She is a life-goddess, and at least one source – Claudian’s Du Raptu Proserpinae — credits Hades’ desire for her born out of a desire to have children. When considering impregnating her, do either of them exactly kink on this? Do they find it a kink otherwise? Is some of their attraction to one another due to genetic sexual attraction?

Crown kink: Persephone loves Power, and Hades has a lot of it…And he lets her wear the crown sometimes. I’d love to see sex where either of them keeps the crown on, and the other absolutely kinks on seeing it on their person.

Sex with plants/vines: I mean, marrying an earth goddess has some benefits, and clearly one of those benefits is bondage with plants? Or perhaps she uses the plants in another way? I can imagine one might lose control of their powers during sex, and since hers are all plant-like — can she have an orgasm without their room suddenly being absolutely filled with flowers?

Sexy Eldritch Horror: I love love love sexy eldritch horrors, and would love to see Hades or Persephone turned into a dark creature that is beyond human understanding — and how would that change their sex lives? What’s it like to make love with a sexy eldritch god — especially if you are one yourself (or at least learning to become/transforming into one)?

Touch-Starved: Hades and Persephone are separated six months of the time. When they get back together, how does that lack of contact change things for them? Are they both touch starved? If so, does one or the other take advantage of this? How do they address that ache?

Forbidden/Secret Relationships: I would love to see a turn where their relationship is a bit more equal than writing in the original myths , where Persephone and Hades fall in love/lust despite the lack of parental/family approval and asking Zeus is only the last step in a horribly circuitous plan to try to stay together. How do they fall in love? Do they have to sneak time together in little quickies on Olympus or sneaking around on earth/ underground? How does Persephone have a sexual relationship with him without anyone else noticing? Are either of them weirded out about the family ties? Why might their relationship not be approved, and why do they suddenly seek approval through getting married?

Abduction as Seduction: Hades is pretty much the trope-maker here. How does his seduction of Persephone go – is it at all according to plan? Or do his plans pretty much get horribly off track really quickly? Does she eventually come to love him despite the abduction?

Invisible: Hades has an invisibility helmet and obviously, this HAS to have sexy uses. Does he ever make use of it to visit her while she is spending time with her mom? What is it like making love with a person who you can't see? Does she ever steal the helmet for naughty mischief with him?

Coming Untouched: Uhey spend a lot of time apart so clearly smutty letters/mental conversations/etc play a large part of their relationship, so I imagine both get really good at honing their wordplay. When they’re together, do they ever use it to the point of making the other person come with just their voice?

Cosmic horror: I’d love to see some examination of how Persephone eating those pomegranate seeds might have modified her into becoming some kind of underworld cosmic horror. How does she change? Does Hades notice? Is he even more attracted to her once she becomes an underworld god?

Pregnancy: One Roman version of their relationship has Hades marry Persephone because he wants to be a father, which is interesting when so many of the Greeks assumed that he was sterile by virtue of his office. Do they want to have babies? Do they ever try to get pregnant? If they are successful, do they have sex while she is pregnant or is he afraid his powers may adversely affect their child?

Sex with a (Literal) God: Persephone probably hasn’t had a chance to have many other celestial lovers; is being with a God different from being with a man? In what makes it different? Is she taken by surprise by these differences? Or vice versa; from Hades point of view, what is it like being with a goddess instead if a nymph? Is she different in any way? If so, what’s sex with a Goddess like for him?

Greek Mythology

Cassandra being an ancient bae

I love the idea of this. Ares is a God of war and surely he absolutely loves the idea of a woman who is so capable of war as Kassandra. She seems exactly his type: smart, capable, and bloodthirsty. Given her long life, its entirely possible that they could meet at any time, and she could be the closest he could have to an equalish mortal to God relationship. I’d love to see how they might react to one another or how it would wind up with them fucking, whether it’s a one night stand or a lifelong affair. (If you would prefer to make Ares less Greek and more part of the Etruscan/first civilization mythos that surrounds the AC lore, by all means!)

Freeforms:

Sex with a (Literal) God: What is it like to fuck a God? Is Ares similar to a mortal man in feel/dimensions/taste, or is he so much more…otherly/supernatural compared to what Kazzandra is used to in terms of men/women? Do they even have human genitals? Feel free to make the sex as strange and weird as you can.

Power Dynamics: a relationship between a God and a human is never quite equal. How do those power dynamics change their relationship to one another? Does Ares expect to be obeyed by her in every way? Does Kassandra teach him just how scrappy humans can be?

Ritual Sex to Gain Powers: I can absolutely see Kassandra undergoing a ceremonial role to gain power from the God of war and finding to her surprise that this ceremony is surprisingly hands on. What sort of ritual is it? Is Ares attracted to her being supplicant, or does he give her his power so they can be equal and he can fuck the hell out of her knowing that he is perfectly okay to do so?

superpowered sex: Ares and Kassandra spar like hell and to his surprise, she can keep up with him and well, if she can keep up with that…maybe he decides she can handle a full God during sex? What is it like? How does she handle him?

Use of Magic or Superpowers During Sex: Ares and her both have their own superhuman abilities...do either of them use them during sex? Is either surprised by the others use if these talents? Are they into it?

Fighting Kink/Fighting As Foreplay/Sex After Fighting/Battle: I’ve grouped these together since they’re all very similar but feel free to only pick one of then or mix and match! Both of them clearly enjoy fighting and I could see both sliding that sort of exercise into sex. Are either of them thrown when fighting becomes fucking? Is it something they’re both into? How does it happen the first time?
