Trick of Treat Letter
Hello! Thank you for writing for me, kind author/artist! I hope you will have fun writing for me. I've done my best to highlight my general likes/dislikes and give you some good prompts, but please don't feel beholden to any of the prompts in particular. I am always interested in new interactions between my favorite characters. :) If you are wondering wehther you can twist prompts./take them in different directs/etc the answer is always yes - whether it be something sad, scary, fun, or just plain weird, as long as it avoids my DNW I am always down to play. :)

I love Dragon Age in large part because it's big bad (darkspawn/taint) is so macabre. The people you love? Darkspawn now. The taint? Means they might go nuts. If you're a mage and you lose yourself to the taint? Demons. Demons everywhere. Oh and if you just pick up a pretty rock? Maybe that will drive you mad, too. I'm a huge multi-shipper for DA, but I love Anora/Warden, Aveline/Donnic, Aveline/Isabella, Merrill/Isabella, Viv/Leliana, Leliana/Warden, Leliana/Anora, and Merrill/Hawke, Isabella//Hawke, and Aveline Vallen/Female Hawke.
Treat Prompts:
+ Anora commemorating her father/the Warden/Alistair/Cailan during a remembrance of the dead. How does she feel?
+ Aveline Vallen fighting darkspawn and getting flashbacks to her husband's death. Thankfully, someone with her snaps her out of it.
+ Female Adaar has a moment where she realizes that, after years of being a Tal'Vashoth, she's a god damn commander of the biggest military force Thedas has ever seen. Adjusting to that chance can be...a bit odd. Especially when she realizes the only reason all these Andraste worshippers follow her is because of the anchor on her hand.
+Mage! Purple Female Hawke uses her powers to mess with her LI/family/friends/enemies - to different amounts of amusement.
+ Isabela reveling in Pirate stereotypes and managing to con someone out of a bottle of rum.
+ Anything dealing with Leliana's sudden conversion to the chantry, and how she deals with "hearing" the Maker.
+ Loghain and becoming a warden and how it feels to feel "the call."
+ Merrill will do anything to help her friends and family - including taking on supernatural powers. Despite being cast out from her tribe, Merril doesn't regret the decision.
+ Viv helping another mage take command of their powers and getting them into the circle.
Trick Prompts:
+ Anora is Queen but not everyone approves. When the Darkspawn attack Denerim, their queen is forced to fight in a battle against them.
+ Aveline keeps having patrolmen disappear on their patrols. When she looks into it, what she finds is nothing she could have suspected.
+ F! Adaar Mage being afraid of the Qun, and Qunari in general, despite being one.
+ Isabella saving someone from a darkspawn.
+ Loghain Mac Tir's Last Stand.
+ Meredith slowly losing her mind to the Lyrium sword.
+ Merrill being haunted by the ghosts of her tribe.
+ Vivienne being tempted by a desire demon.
NieR: Automata
Characters: 2B, 6O, 9S, A2, YorHa Commander
This is one of the most depressing games I've ever played but also one that I feel has the potential for both candy-sweet fluff and soul-sucking horror and I mean that in the best of ways. As far as pairings go, I like 2B/9S and 6O/2B.
Treat Prompts:
+ 2B and 9S and a moment of peace between ending A/B and ending C.
+ 9S getting a message from 2B.
+ 2B and her relief at working with 9S gain.
+ A2 and another android and a moment of sweetness and/or hurt/comfort between them.
+ Operator 60 AU where she goes AWOL to go down to earth - and misses the mission that takes away so many of her fellow androids. Without a place to call home, Operator 60 is left adrift and has to find a new place to belong - but where would that be?
Trick Prompts:
+ 9S keeps hallucinating 2B and his grip on sanity slips more and more post-ending C; he doesn't want to correct his routines though.
+ 2B keeps relieving memories of killing 9S. 9S can't make it better, but he tries.
+ Yorha Commander and having to keep sending androids out to die - and the pain that can cause.
+ 2B and 9S and the many previous times she's had to kill 9S and how their relationship evolves over time when she remembers and he doesn't.
+ Operator 60 and 2B go down to earth to enjoy a nice day; unfortunately, the machines ruin it for them.
+ A2 and PTSD and keeping functioning when she's on her own.
Persona 3
Characters: Aragaki Shinjiro, Kirijo Mitsuru, Sanada Akihiko
I have a lot of the feelings about the Senpai side of the P3 squad. They've all been through so much, and they're the only ones familiar with Tartarus before the junior squad shows up. I ship all sides of these three - as an OT3, and with one another in duos - Shinjiro/Akihiko, Shinjuro/Mitsuru, and Mitsuru/Akihiko.
Treat Prompts:
+ Shinjiro comes back to the team, and no one is more relieved than Mitsuru and Akihiko.
+ Mitsuru and body worship with Akihiko, especially on his or her scars.
+ Shinjiro cooking for Mitsuru and/or Akihiko.
+ Akihiko forcing Mitsuru and/or Akihiko into a demanding exercise routine.
+ Cuddling and surviving post-Tartarus.
Trick Prompts:

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Summary
Rogue One is a fandom that obviously needs some sweetness, but I'd like to see some really sad stuff too. I mean, there's never too many salty tears, right? XD I like K-2SO/Cassian/Jyn, Cassian/K-2S0, Cassian/Jyn, Krennic/Anyone, and Bodhi/Jyn.
Treat Prompts:
+ Bodhi and Galen friendship fic, where Galen slowly recruits Bodhi to the rebel cause.
+ Cassian + Jyn and the afterlife.
+ K -2SO and Cassian pre-canon adventures.
+ Krennic being a drama queen, as usual, and the other Imperials' reactions to it.
+ Saw and Jyn training.
+ Saw and Galen making emergency plans that come to pass.
+ Galen, Jyn, and Lyra family fluff.
+ Bodhi and Jyn survive and trying to get past their ghosts while still fighting the good fight for the rebellion.
Trick Prompts:
+ Galen surviving through the imperial brutality Krennic puts him through- and boy is it brutal.
+ Krennic and his final thoughts.
+ Saw Gerrera AU - making a last stand against the Empire with Jyn on Eadu..
+ AU Saw lives, but Jyn and Galen don't. How does he deal with it?
+ Lyra survives AU, but survives by re-marrying an Imperial (Krennic or another) - how does she deal with it? Does she try to find Galen/Jyn?
Star Wars: Bloodline - Claudia Gray
Characters: Greer Sonnel, Joph Seastriker, Ransolm Casterfo
The end of this book hit me like a gut punch and I would love to see either candy-sweet fluff or hot and painful angst for the main cast..
Treat Promps:
+ Ransolm getting rescued by Leia's Resistance in one of their first missions and joining Leia's group.
+ Joph and Greer and sweet relationship fluff, of all and any sort; including but not limited to: Greer teaching Joph how to drink Port in the Sea, Joph showing Greer how to be a cuddler or sharing their own cultural traditions.
+ Joph and Greer joining the Resistance.
Trick Prompts:
+ Pre-canon fic about Ransolm surviving on his homeworld and rising in prominence.
+ Ransolm's imperial artifact search goes south when he winds up in a bidding war with someone he didn't think was alive.
+ Greer's illness gets worse. Joph isn't dealing with it well.
+ Greer + Joph noticing the changes in Leia when Ben goes Kylo.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Characters: Canderous Ordo, Carth Onasi, Female Revan, HK-47
KOTOR is a very underrated part of the canon, and not just because there's ghosts in it. All three of the characters I've picked have both metaphorical and literal hauntings - well the humans do. Not so much for HK-47, but I think we can all agree murderbots are always within the spirit of the season. I love F! Revan and am v. fond of F!Revan/Carth and F!Revan/Canderous and F!Revan/Carth/Canderous.
Treat Prompts:
+ Canderous Ordo telling his stories to Carth; the two, surprisingly, bond over memories of battles fought.
+ Carth and Revan, post-reveal, hurt comfort.
+ Canderous giving a devastated Revan a pep talk about how the reveal of her past doesn't change anything between them.
+ HK-47 and his thoughts about the meatbags on the crew.
Trick Prompts:
+ Canderous and Carth talking about Revan after she takes off, and both of them realizing they're in love with her but it's too late to do anything about it.
+ Canderous is no Jedi. But that doesn't mean he can't hear ...things. Unsettling things.
+ HK-47 outliving all the meatbags and not realizing it.
+ Carth and his feelings on a dark side! run about having to kill his own son.
+ Carth getting pulled to the darkside by DS!Revan.
+ Canderous and/or Carth and Revan on the run together post-SW:KOTOR. The journey is difficult as hell and desperate, but he/they wouldn't be anywhere else but by her side.
Star Wars Original Trilogy
Characters: Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader, Beru Whitesun, Lando Calrissian, Leia Organa, Lobot, Luke Skywalker, Mon Mothma, Sheev Palpatine | Darth Sidious, Wilhuff Tarkin
Much like with the PT, the OT is my favorite because of the Skywalkers and what they can be put through. There's a lot of supernatural lore to their family, too, which I find fascinating. I'm also fond of seeing what life in the empire is/was like for some of the soldiers/senators, and ordinary people as well. I ship Vader/Palpatine, Luke/Leia, Luke/Leia/Lando, Leia/Lando, Lando/Lobot, and Palpatine/Tarkin.
Treat Prompts:
+ Darth Vader feeling a pull toward Luke or Leia pre-series and not understanding why - or Leia/Luke being fascinated with Vader and not understanding why (though very much alarming both their parental units).
+ Beru and baby! Luke bonding over some sort of Tattooine cultural tradition.
+ Lando & Lobot and how they operate on Bepsin as a team.
+ Leia h/c with Luke and/or Lando post-ESB.
+ Luke and Mon Mothma having a talk about Luke's training as a Jedi and being gone from the Rebellion.
+ Palpatine and his thoughts on Luke and how Palpatine intends to use young Skywalker and perhaps "prove" his loyalty.
Trick Prompts:
+ Tarkin and Mon Mothma and playing politics.
+ Leia is forced to team up with Darth Vader, but it doesn't go smoothly.
+ Luke and/or Leia being haunted - metaphorically or literally - by the ghosts of their parents (adopted or biological) or friends that got caught in the crossfire.
+ Luke/Leia/Lando being trapped at Jabba's palace and finding comfort in one another.
+ Tarkin finds out about Vader's secret identity and his connection to Leia on the Death Star. What does he do with it?
+ Palpatine and how he plans to keep the galaxy under his thumb.
Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
Characters: Anakin Skywalker, Bail Organa, Beru Whitesun, Breha Organa, Dooku | Darth Tyranus, Padmé Amidala, Sheev Palpatine, Shmi Skywalker
Star Wars is the fandom I've been in the longest and the one I will always retain a great love of dark fic/supernatural fic for. I'm particularly interested in the Sith and the female characters in the Skywalker/Organa/Naberrie family. In Ships, I like Padme/Anakin, Breha/Bail, Dooku/Padme, Palpatine/Anakin, Palpatine/Shmi and Palpatine/Padme. Padme is my little black dress of the prequel trilogy, as in there isn't a character I wouldn't like to see her draped over, so please feel free to put her with anyone.
Treat Prompts:
+ Anakin is haunted by dreams, but Padme grants him some relief.
+ Bail & Breha taking Leia to a memory of her birth mother and trying to teach Leia about her, without ever letting her quite know the truth. And Leia, much to their horror, giving hints that she might have a greater connection to Padme than they might suspect...
+ Dooku training as a Jedi vs training as a Sith.
+ Anakin confesses his relationship with Padme to Palpatine. Palpatine is thrilled - but perhaps not for the reason Anakin thinks.
+ Bail & Breha and a quiet moment together during the rebellion.
+ Beru's origin story and how she wound up with the Lars.
+ Beru and Padme on Tattooine having an adventure and/or exploring cultural differences.
+ Palpatine training his apprentices.
+ Shmi and Beru and Tatooine traditions between slaves and freeborns.
+ Shmi and Anakin and holidays in the slave quarters - or what might count as one, anyway.
Trick Prompts:
+ Shmi is a ghost who haunts her son, but he can't see her.
+ AU where Padme is captured by Separatists. Dooku, to her surprise, is more a gentleman than a brute, and gradually convinces her the republic is in the wrong. Padme becomes a Separatist agent, much to the dismay of Anakin, who has been searching for her all this time.
+ Palpatine hints to Padme that he knows about her and Anakin. Padme is disturbed by this, and more so when she talks to Anakin and realizes he told Palpatine.
+ Breha and/or Bail and worrying about the rebellion, their roles in it, and - worse of all - Leia's role in it.
+ Palpatine puts his plans in motion, beginning with a slave girl of Gardulla the Hut 9 years before TPM.
+ Palpatine and Jobal Naberrie had an affair, of which Padme is the result. He lost interest in her as a babe when she showed no force potential and thus wasn't that convenient for his plans. However, when Padme begins to grow into force powers far later than most - Palpatine takes a renewed interest in the girl.
Suikoden III
Characters: Aila, Chris Lightfellow, Geddoe, Queen, Salome Harras
Suikoden is one of my favorite fandoms, and Suikoden III is particularly my favorite for its unflinching look at the true runes and how they affect people, places, and nations. My favorite pairings are Chris/Salome and Queen/Geddoe.
Treat Prompts:
+ Aila and all the things she finds and loves outside of the Karaya tribe. When she returns, she introduces many new traditions to the Karaya.
+ Aila and the ugly side of traveling in foreign lands. How does she cope with Zexen charging her say, 2x as much as Geddoe to use a bed in their town?
+ Chris + Salome fighting all kinds of supernatural forces, but Chris' sword (and rune, if post canon) and Salome's planning save the day.
+ Zexen traditions and how Chris and/or Salome spend them.
+ Geddoe and Queen fighting back to back with their unit against impossible odds, and despite that, knowing there's nowhere else they'd want to be.
Trick Prompts:
+ Aila has a hard time adjusting to Karaya once she returns from her travels with Geddoe. Everything is so different that ultimately, she decides to leave. Supernatural events occur soon afterwards, and Aila feels both guilty and relieved to have missed it.
+ Chris + Salome and the problems with living with a woman who is becoming more and more a perfectly youthful goddess while you wither and decay.
+ Salome is killed when Chris isn't with him. She feels guilty and looks into research with her rune to try to save him.
+ Geddoe can't age and never understood why the FC chose to cast aside his power to live a new life, as he'd never want to hand off his curse to someone else - but Queen makes him tempted to try.
+ Queen and living and loving and the day she knows that Geddoe will have to go off on jobs with his group without her, because she is getting too old to keep up, and he never changes.
+ Chris and Geddoe meet up hundreds of years after the Second Fire Bringer War. Both have changed so much that they can barely recognize one another - but find an understanding in one another.
Tekken
Characters: Émilie ''Lili'' de Rochefort, Kazama Asuka, Kazama Jin, Lee Chaolan, Mishima Kazumi, Mishima Kazuya
I adore the Tekken series and think it's "Halloweenability" is very underappreciated! It's a canon full of demons and angels and ogres and other supernatural occurrences all of which, I think, are perfect for trick or treat. <3 My preferred pairings for this fandom are: Lili/Asuka, Jin/Lee, Kaz/Lee, and I'm also fond of Jun/Kaz as a background for Jin fics.
Treat Prompts:
+ Lili startles Asuka by throwing a surprise Halloween party. At her house. In Japan. Asuka doesn't quite know what to make of this, but the costume Lili more or less forces her to wear bears some surprising results.
+ Lili is getting into the spooky spirit at the King of Iron Fist tournament, to mixed results.
+ Asuka is the one normal(ish) girl stuck in a family of demons/spiritual warriors/talking bears and is tired of All This Supernatural Shit so she takes to wiping it out with the one weapon she has: her fists.
+ Jin is haunted by the ghost of his grandmother, but she helps him understand his father and grandfather better. And what he has to do.
+ Lee Chaolan shows up to Kazuya's office wearing devil horns. Kazuya? Less than enthused, and sets about trying to teach Lee a Lesson.
+ Lee Chaolan makes it a point to troll his family by creating characters in his advertising material that bear ...slight resemblances to them. The fallout is glorious.
+ Kazuya Mishima has a Very Good Day, but what does that look like for a man who's half demon?
+ Kazumi teaching Kazuya a bit about the "gifts" of their family line.
+ Kazuya and Jin are forced to depend on one another to survive and learn a few things about one another.
Trick Prompts:
+ Kazuya has a demon who he's been attached to since he was a child. When it's ripped away from him, he doesn't know how to live anymore. +++for lots of Body Horror/Mind Horror
+ Kazumi recognizes signs of her family gift/curse in her son, and feels very torn about it.
+ Kazuya has many ghosts he refuses to recognize. Unfortunately for his mother, she is one.
+ Kazuya and Jin both share a demonic presence - which gives them input into what the other is feeling, whether they like it or not.
+ Lee Chaolan talking to Jin about what Kazuya is really like. It's not a Happy Story.
+ Asuka Kazama + Lili Rochefort see one of the Mishima's demon forms, and have to survive a fight against it in incredible danagerous circumstances.

KOTOR is a very underrated part of the canon, and not just because there's ghosts in it. All three of the characters I've picked have both metaphorical and literal hauntings - well the humans do. Not so much for HK-47, but I think we can all agree murderbots are always within the spirit of the season. I love F! Revan and am v. fond of F!Revan/Carth and F!Revan/Canderous and F!Revan/Carth/Canderous.

Star Wars Original Trilogy

Much like with the PT, the OT is my favorite because of the Skywalkers and what they can be put through. There's a lot of supernatural lore to their family, too, which I find fascinating. I'm also fond of seeing what life in the empire is/was like for some of the soldiers/senators, and ordinary people as well. I ship Vader/Palpatine, Luke/Leia, Luke/Leia/Lando, Leia/Lando, Lando/Lobot, and Palpatine/Tarkin.
Treat Prompts:
+ Darth Vader feeling a pull toward Luke or Leia pre-series and not understanding why - or Leia/Luke being fascinated with Vader and not understanding why (though very much alarming both their parental units).
+ Beru and baby! Luke bonding over some sort of Tattooine cultural tradition.

Star Wars is the fandom I've been in the longest and the one I will always retain a great love of dark fic/supernatural fic for. I'm particularly interested in the Sith and the female characters in the Skywalker/Organa/Naberrie family. In Ships, I like Padme/Anakin, Breha/Bail, Dooku/Padme, Palpatine/Anakin, Palpatine/Shmi and Palpatine/Padme. Padme is my little black dress of the prequel trilogy, as in there isn't a character I wouldn't like to see her draped over, so please feel free to put her with anyone.
Treat Prompts:
+ Anakin is haunted by dreams, but Padme grants him some relief.
+ Bail & Breha taking Leia to a memory of her birth mother and trying to teach Leia about her, without ever letting her quite know the truth. And Leia, much to their horror, giving hints that she might have a greater connection to Padme than they might suspect...

+ AU where Padme is captured by Separatists. Dooku, to her surprise, is more a gentleman than a brute, and gradually convinces her the republic is in the wrong. Padme becomes a Separatist agent, much to the dismay of Anakin, who has been searching for her all this time.
+ Palpatine hints to Padme that he knows about her and Anakin. Padme is disturbed by this, and more so when she talks to Anakin and realizes he told Palpatine.
+ Breha and/or Bail and worrying about the rebellion, their roles in it, and - worse of all - Leia's role in it.
+ Palpatine puts his plans in motion, beginning with a slave girl of Gardulla the Hut 9 years before TPM.
+ Palpatine and Jobal Naberrie had an affair, of which Padme is the result. He lost interest in her as a babe when she showed no force potential and thus wasn't that convenient for his plans. However, when Padme begins to grow into force powers far later than most - Palpatine takes a renewed interest in the girl.
Suikoden III
Characters: Aila, Chris Lightfellow, Geddoe, Queen, Salome Harras
Suikoden is one of my favorite fandoms, and Suikoden III is particularly my favorite for its unflinching look at the true runes and how they affect people, places, and nations. My favorite pairings are Chris/Salome and Queen/Geddoe.
Treat Prompts:
+ Aila and all the things she finds and loves outside of the Karaya tribe. When she returns, she introduces many new traditions to the Karaya.
+ Aila and the ugly side of traveling in foreign lands. How does she cope with Zexen charging her say, 2x as much as Geddoe to use a bed in their town?
+ Chris + Salome fighting all kinds of supernatural forces, but Chris' sword (and rune, if post canon) and Salome's planning save the day.
+ Zexen traditions and how Chris and/or Salome spend them.
+ Geddoe and Queen fighting back to back with their unit against impossible odds, and despite that, knowing there's nowhere else they'd want to be.
Trick Prompts:
+ Aila has a hard time adjusting to Karaya once she returns from her travels with Geddoe. Everything is so different that ultimately, she decides to leave. Supernatural events occur soon afterwards, and Aila feels both guilty and relieved to have missed it.
+ Chris + Salome and the problems with living with a woman who is becoming more and more a perfectly youthful goddess while you wither and decay.
+ Salome is killed when Chris isn't with him. She feels guilty and looks into research with her rune to try to save him.
+ Geddoe can't age and never understood why the FC chose to cast aside his power to live a new life, as he'd never want to hand off his curse to someone else - but Queen makes him tempted to try.
+ Queen and living and loving and the day she knows that Geddoe will have to go off on jobs with his group without her, because she is getting too old to keep up, and he never changes.
+ Chris and Geddoe meet up hundreds of years after the Second Fire Bringer War. Both have changed so much that they can barely recognize one another - but find an understanding in one another.
Tekken
Characters: Émilie ''Lili'' de Rochefort, Kazama Asuka, Kazama Jin, Lee Chaolan, Mishima Kazumi, Mishima Kazuya
I adore the Tekken series and think it's "Halloweenability" is very underappreciated! It's a canon full of demons and angels and ogres and other supernatural occurrences all of which, I think, are perfect for trick or treat. <3 My preferred pairings for this fandom are: Lili/Asuka, Jin/Lee, Kaz/Lee, and I'm also fond of Jun/Kaz as a background for Jin fics.
Treat Prompts:
+ Lili startles Asuka by throwing a surprise Halloween party. At her house. In Japan. Asuka doesn't quite know what to make of this, but the costume Lili more or less forces her to wear bears some surprising results.
+ Lili is getting into the spooky spirit at the King of Iron Fist tournament, to mixed results.
+ Asuka is the one normal(ish) girl stuck in a family of demons/spiritual warriors/talking bears and is tired of All This Supernatural Shit so she takes to wiping it out with the one weapon she has: her fists.
+ Jin is haunted by the ghost of his grandmother, but she helps him understand his father and grandfather better. And what he has to do.
+ Lee Chaolan shows up to Kazuya's office wearing devil horns. Kazuya? Less than enthused, and sets about trying to teach Lee a Lesson.
+ Lee Chaolan makes it a point to troll his family by creating characters in his advertising material that bear ...slight resemblances to them. The fallout is glorious.
+ Kazuya Mishima has a Very Good Day, but what does that look like for a man who's half demon?
+ Kazumi teaching Kazuya a bit about the "gifts" of their family line.
+ Kazuya and Jin are forced to depend on one another to survive and learn a few things about one another.
Trick Prompts:
+ Kazuya has a demon who he's been attached to since he was a child. When it's ripped away from him, he doesn't know how to live anymore. +++for lots of Body Horror/Mind Horror
+ Kazumi recognizes signs of her family gift/curse in her son, and feels very torn about it.
+ Kazuya has many ghosts he refuses to recognize. Unfortunately for his mother, she is one.
+ Kazuya and Jin both share a demonic presence - which gives them input into what the other is feeling, whether they like it or not.
+ Lee Chaolan talking to Jin about what Kazuya is really like. It's not a Happy Story.
+ Asuka Kazama + Lili Rochefort see one of the Mishima's demon forms, and have to survive a fight against it in incredible danagerous circumstances.
