Chocolate Box 2020

Dear chocolatier,

Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I am looking forward to seeing whatever you create!

I consider all prompts as optional, but I added some ideas below in case you might find them helpful. Some are longer than others, but all are things I would love to receive! If none of my prompts work for you or you’d rather just work with a likes list, please feel free to use my general likes as something you can base your fic/art on, and ignore my prompts entirely. All my requests are for both art and fic; feel free to illustrate or write only a small scene of a large AU I ask for. I'm aware this exchange only has a 300-word minimum and I'm perfectly happy with fun size and king-size fanfic/art. Like valentine's candy, there's really no wrong shape or flavor.

In fact, feel free to be creative and create what you want as long as it doesn’t cross my DNW. I love everything from G-rated gen fic to E-rated smut-bangs, so feel free to go where the spirit moves you. If you are wondering if you can twist prompts/take them in different directions/etc. the answer is always an enthusiastic yes. Whether it be something sad, scary, fun, or just plain weird, as long as it avoids my DNW I am always down to play.

As far as characters without defined attributes (mainly mythology and novel sources): please feel free to go wild with how you want them to look: skin color, hair, eyes: go nuts! Whatever you want. Explore an ancient Greek myth in another cultural context? Amazing, I live for alternate cultural takes on my faves. Trans or otherwise gender non-conforming? Sure! Bring it on! I love multiple versions and different takes so please change things to your heart’s desire: I am here for it. Stick with whatever idea makes your story/art best, and I promise I will enjoy it. As far as tricks vs. treats, I love both really deep, soul-suckingly sad/bleak dark!fic, and fuzzy, baby-blanket smooth fluff!fic. I am easy to please, I hope. :)

    Fandoms:

    Hadestown:

Hadestown is the little fandom train of my heart, and I am so very into the relationships in this show, especially Hades, Persephone, and Eurydice. The relationships between all three are, in a word, complicated, and I'd love to see anything and everything with these three! Honestly, I love everything about this world, but what I love most is the characters. Persephone being perched between being this seductive terror and wine mom? Wow, everything I didn't know I needed. Hades being this deeply romantic and yet absolutely a stubborn ass who will slice off his nose to prove a point? Absolutely. Eurydice being this clever young girl who gets foiled only for being a mortal in a land where the gods struggle to tred? Whoof, I am here for it. Please just give me some exploration of these characters as they move in this world, whether after-canon or during.

Eurydice & Hades: I am FASCINATED by the relationship between these two; I feel like Hades and Eurydice are very much birds of a certain feather, and that feather is mostly practicality. Neither of them are above doing potentially bad things to get good rewards, and both are people who are willing to play a long game. I am very much curious as to what their relationship evolves to, post-canon (or through subsequent reboots if you interpret the ending as rebooting time). Does Hades ever attempt to make amends for tricking her merely to get back at his wife? Is their relationship more adversarial, or do they gradually come to be friends? After all, friend or enemy, no one recognizes the pain of being left behind quite like these two.

    Prompt ideas:
    * Honestly, I would love to see how Hades would react to Eurydice returning to the Underworld. Does he know right away when Orpheus fails? Does he just find her back on the line? Does he find her crawled up somewhere? And how does he react?
    * Eurydice after some time in the underworld; she gradually fades and can't really remember Hades, after a while, but she sure does instinctually fear him, and that makes Hades more uncomfortable than he'd like to admit.
    * Eurydice is struggling to keep up on the job; Hades helps Eurydice adjust to life down low.
    * Mr. Hades keeps his promises. Eurydice gets a belly full and it’s not nothing, that promise between them. But perhaps it isn't quite enough to stop her from hating him.
    * Hades' attempt(s) to reform the underworld, and Eurydice's reaction(s).
    * Eurydice finds a way to see Orpheus, every once in a while, at a place where the underworld and upper world meet at a crack in a wall. It all seems so nice...and then, one day, Mr. Hades finds out.

Eurydice/Hades: Like I said in the gen section, I think Eurydice and Hades are of a kind. They're both used to the world disappointing them, and more than used to having to take care of themselves. They're jaded, practical, and 10/10 willing to cut someone if they have to - in short, they're both bad-ass leaders, and I can 100% see where the attraction comes from for both of them: Hades is every bit of permanent stability that she craves, and Eurydice doesn't have any of the restrictions Hades has re: his relationship with Persephone. And yet, part of the interest I have in this is that they're both quite sad of it, that neither of them really is happy in this arrangement, even if they think it's everything they want. I love that kind of bittersweet exploration. Side note: If you want to write this as Hades stepping out on Persephone, or post-an amicable break-up, either is fine.

    Prompt ideas:
    * Hades keeps his promises, and maybe she doesn't love him, but what they have together isn't without a feeling to it.
    * Hades and Eurydice are both intensely practical people, which proves surprisingly comforting.
    * Honestly, I would love to see an exploration of the god/mortal divide here. He's a lot bigger than her, physically, and he's a god so not only is he bigger, not only is he more powerful, but he's lived centuries longer. How do you handle getting into a relationship with someone like that? Especially an extra-marital relationship?
    * Some of the other worker's reactions to Hades' taking Eurydice to his office - do they know what she's going up there for? Are they envious, or do they fear for her?
    * Their relationship was supposed to be a one-time affair. It wasn't. Neither of them is happy about going to the other for comfort, but they can't seem to stop.
    * She tells Hades signing her contract that what's between them is only going to happen once. But after Orpheus fails, she wants revenge for Hades dooming them, and takes it by dooming his marriage in as much as she can.

Eurydice/Hades/Persephone: I feel like much like with Hades and Persephone as a couple, these three are almost perfectly balanced between being a threesome that would incorporate the best of all three's personalities, and also, one that would bring out the worst of their insecurities. A relationship with two people takes work, and a relationship between three people, even more work. A relationship between three people, where one of those people actually leaves six months of the year? Even more work. I really feel like if they put in enough effort, they could make it...but on the other hand, I adore the thought of them succumbing to all those doubts that seem to individually doom them through the show, too! I'd also love to see some focus on the godly/not godly combination that this trio brings: what is it like for the gods to accept this mortal girl into their bed? What is it like for this mortal girl to tangle with not one, but two gods?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Orpheus' song might have gotten the world unstuck, but its Eurydice who keeps the seasons flowing smoothly, keeping both Hades and Persephone in balance.
    * I would love to know how these three become a trio: do Hades and Eurydice continue their affair and eventually Persephone decides she wants a taste of the little songbird herself? Does Eurydice suggest this as a modification to her contract? Does Persephone wind up seducing the songbird in revenge only to find, much to all their surprise, that their husband is really into sharing her with Eurydice?
    * I would love to see smut re: Eurydice's first experience with these gods. Is she honored? Feels secure? Or does she only feel guilt about leaving Orpheus to start this relationship?
    * Persephone wonders what happens when she's gone, and fears being replaced; a surprise trip home "early" shows both her lovers more than happy to see her.
    * Eurydice and Persephone both wind up pregnant at almost the same time, and Hades feels complicated emotions about it.

Eurydice & Persephone: As much as I am interested in the relationship between Hades and Eurydice, I'm equally interested in the relationship between Persephone and the girl. Persephone is such a complicated figure; while she doesn't lure Eurydice to the underworld, she doesn't stop her from following Hades. And Eurydice certainly may have hurt Persephone, whether simply by being the boss' canary, or by fashioning the girl as a (one-time?) mistress. (Whether you go with Hades and Eurydice having slept together or not after Why Do We Build the Wall does not matter to me; go with whatever interpretation you favor.) There's a lot of rocks thrown in their path, and yet Persephone clearly seems quite fond of the girl: up-top she is quick to take Eurydice under her wing, and even after everything happens in the underworld, she's constantly pulling for Eurydice and Orpheus. How does Eurydice take this? How does Persephone?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Persephone takes Eurydice under her wing and finds a way to allow her to see the sun - at least, for a little bit. What the boss don't know...
    * Eurydice walks into Persephone's bar and it changes her (after)life - how so?
    * Nothing ever changes. Eurydice goes to her goddess expecting comfort - and gets it, but it's ultimately temporary.
    * Persephone is worried about leaving Hades alone in the underworld with Eurydice, and moving on from her own insecurities proves as hard for her as it is for him. Eurydice being nice to her doesn't make it easier.
    * Persephone is Eurydice's patron goddess, but the goddess becomes torn when Eurydice asks her to undo the deal she's signed.
    * Persephone tries to help Eurydice adjust to her life under the earth - but her attempt backfires.

Hades/Persephone: Oh boy, these two; Hades and Persephone seem balanced on a razor blade as to whether they’re staying together or splitting up during the entire show. I love how at the end of How Long, the two basically come into harmony even mad-as-hell at one another; they're willing to stay together, we can see how good they are when they are together, but there's always such tension there because she always has to leave. It's very interesting, I think, because we can visibly see them suffering so much from the decline in their relationship: Hades, desperately anxious and drunk on a mix of despair and possession; Persephone, blotting out the pain with alcohol as much as she can and still feeling it anyway. The fact that they're Gods whose relationship has spanned literal hundreds of thousands of years just gives them more and more time to know each other intimately - which is great, when it works out between them there is no higher form of love, but also means no one knows better all their fears and how to twist the knife the best.

    Prompt ideas:
    * First Time(s) - First Kiss, First Sexual Encounter, First Meeting - I will take any and all for these two, whether you go classical myth or Americana or something all-new, I'd love it.
    * Babyfic. I have a pathological need for it for these two (beloved!) disasters. Give them a baby - accidental acquisition, knocked up, adopted - I don’t care, I just love these two learning to care for a small child while also learning how to love one another in a more healthy way.
    * Hades receives a phone call/letter from his wife, and it makes his day.
    * Persephone has a drinking problem; Hades can hold his liquor but even he has limits. When does he realize her drinking is a problem?
    * I would love to see these two sleeping in opposite bedrooms while pining for their insanely stubborn spouse and feeling conflicted about it. Do either of them bend and wind up trotting over to the other's room? Or do they wind up grumbling themselves to sleep?
    * Hades tries to surprise Persephone while she's living it up on top; what happens?

    Ancient Greek Religion & Lore:

Greek Mythology is one of my eternal fandoms, and I love the female characters of these ancient epics most of all. All the relationships I love here are ones that have a lot of history, and I'd love to see a little moment for any of them! I'm always fascinated by the humanity/inhumanity of the Gods, where they have powers beyond our control yet struggle with very mortal desires: lust, food, petty little snippets, etc. I particularly love how spirited the women of the Ancient Greek world are: the world is unquestionably misogynistic, and yet there are so many goddesses who despite being dealt rather tragic

Aphrodite/Demeter: I feel like Aphrodite and Demeter, while often portrayed as opposites, would actually have a lot in common. They're both mothers, and both mothers whose children wind up with spouses that they aren't entirely supportive of (of course, certainly Eros choose Psyche - whether Persephone chose Hades is more a matter of debate). On top of that, I feel like both of them kind of get a raw deal, re: their interactions with the Olympians - Aphrodite is older than the whole lot of them (in most tellings), but she's portrayed as being very subservient to Zeus, who even forces her to marry a man she does not love. Demeter certainly also has a raw draw with the Olympians: Zeus, at minimum, impregnates and then deserts her, and her relationship with Poseidon is rarely determined to be something she consented to in any way. I feel like given this, they'd bond with one another. They rarely (if ever?) interact in (the extremely nebulous) canon, and I'd love to see just what that might entail - especially in versions when it's Aphrodite who gives Hades the big idea to abduct Persephone in the first place (namely Ovid).

    Prompt ideas:
    * Aphrodite and Demeter have a heart to heart while Persephone is in the underworld; Demeter is a bit cagey at first, but she's surprised how much Aphrodite sympathizes with her.
    * Aphrodite decides to help Demeter find the positive side to love - and how better to do so than to be seduced by love itself?
    * Demeter goes to Aphrodite seeking aid and is genuinely surprised at how nurturing and kind the love goddess is.
    * Demeter confronts Aphrodite re: her role in getting Hades to go after Persephone. Aphrodite doesn't deny it, but changes the encounter into something Demeter finds far more confusing.
    * Aphrodite has the power to look like anyone the beholder finds most attractive; Demeter asks to see her real face, to surprising results.
    * Aphrodite and Demeter co-ordinate on helping plants pollinate; it proves more seductive than perhaps intended.

Aphrodite & Persephone: Honestly, I just think an interaction between these two would be really interesting. Aphrodite is all about love, and Persephone's marriage is, debatably, a bit short of it, or built on a sacrifice she makes to it. Aphrodite and Persephone have been in adversarial roles in a couple of myths: at times, Persephone tangles with Aphrodite for Adonis (either because she loves him as a child or because she loves him as a lover) and, in other stories, it's Aphrodite who orders Hades' to fall in love with Persephone. in the Psyche story, Aphrodite orders Psyche to go to Persephone to get her beauty potion (which winds up being sleeping) - were these two in cahoots on this, or is this another way to rub it in for Persephone? Does Persephone get a bit of revenge in allowing Psyche to leave with her beauty potion, or does Persephone genuinely want the best for the girl? How does Persephone view the love goddess in light of that? Is she thankful - Hades, perhaps, is not so bad a match? Or does she resent her? Do the two have something of a rivalry? Or are they friends?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Aphrodite aids Persephone in getting together with Hades; how and why does she do this? Does Persephone even want the help?
    * Persephone makes an unusual request of the love goddess, but there is nothing Aphrodite loves more than a challenge.
    * Aphrodite tries to help Persephone by showing up in Hades and giving her advice. Very graphic advice. How does Persephone react?
    * Persephone and Aphrodite work together on the Psyche situation; does it turn out in the way they intend?
    * Persephone is visited in the underworld by Aphrodite during her first winter after Hades tricked her with the seeds with a homecoming! plant. How does she react?
    * I would love to see a trans! Persephone who is struggling to find love given her secret; Aphrodite, who knows all, finds a suitable mate for her.

Demeter & Hades: I would love to know what their relationship was like before Hades abducted Persephone. They’re the only two of Chronos' children to take after mom in being Earth gods, and their roles seem to have some overlap: death flows from life, after all, and life from death. And yet, Hades is the only brother that Demeter hasn’t slept with, and her sadness when Helios tells her that Hades has taken her daughter is a profound grief...and anger, but not at Hades (more so for Zeus). What was their relationship like? And after the nuclear bomb that is the abduction of Persephone, how does their relationship change? Does it only strain their relationship or does it break it entirely? How do they handle one another?

    Prompt ideas:
    * When Persephone is a child, Demeter receives a rare visit from her brother, who has a request for her aid. How does she help? What is her reaction?
    * Hades and Demeter attempt to make up with one another after a good century or two - are they successful in this?
    * Hades has always been the brother Demeter struggles to accept - why?
    * Hades offers to help his sister with the fields when Persephone is unable to - how does this go?
    * Hades and Demeter's relationship is ruined by their "custody battle" over Persephone - how does this help or hinder their other relationships?
    * There's parts of Hades that Demeter sees in Persephone, and parts of Demeter that Hades sees in his wife. How do they handle this awkward recognition?

Demeter/Hera: Honestly I'm really fascinated by what their relationship might be like - because, really, they're sisters who have lived through an unforgivably hellish crucible, mostly together. They fought in a war together. And then they fell in love with the same man, got pregnant by the same man, both cheated on by the same man -- it's rough, and it has to hurt hard when they've been through so much together before that. Demeter doesn't even live on Olympus and I can't imagine that a large part of that wasn't her desire not to be that close to Zeus after he literally and metaphorically fucked her over, and Hera, as we all know, isn't very nice to her husband's affair partners. What is their relationship like, either during the Titanomachy or in the nebulous time after? I feel like they've been through so much together that they could learn to move past Zeus' womanizing ways...and when you've grown up in such a hellish crucible, who could truly understand you better than your sister? And given how much these ladies have been screwed over in love, and how much the six children of Chronos seem expected to stay in the family line - well, what might they do together?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Demeter has always loved Hera, but avoids her after her one-night stand with Zeus due to Hera's infamous temper. When they finally see one another again, Demeter is surprised by her sister's reaction.
    * Hera kisses Demeter to make Zeus jealous, and realizes, to her surprise, that she likes it.
    * Hera tries to imagine how her husband fell for Demeter -- and then realizes, much to her own annoyance, that she's struggling not to do so herself.
    * Demeter is lonely after her daughter marries, and seeks out Hera -- who has lonely feelings of her own.
    * Demeter and Hera, in love during the Titanomachy.
    * Demeter and Hera, struggling to raise the younger siblings while still inside Chronos' belly.

Demeter & Melinoe: I would love to see how Demeter takes to becoming a grandmother! Especially with a child that definitively has more of Hades' powers than Persephone; how does Demeter handle this little, perhaps slightly spooky child? Is she thrilled to have a grandchild? Worried about it? Does she help Persephone through her pregnancy, or does Persephone simply show up for spring at some point, and Demeter sees a little girl with her and Hades for the first time? Either way, how does she feel about it?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Demeter sees something in Persephone's child she would rather not acknowledge.
    * Persephone has a difficult second pregnancy and Demeter tries to help her by babysitting the first child...but finds she struggles to understand this child.
    * Demeter's grandchild shows up one winter morning, unannounced.
    * Demeter learns to love her grandchild despite her obviously underworldly nature.
    * Persephone finds out she's pregnant. She tells Demeter first, and Demeter is the first, beyond Persephone, to feel her granddaughter's presence.
    * Demeter tells Melinoe family stories while watching a star shower outside.

Hades/Persephone: For a relationship that is so very much central to the story, we know almost nothing of how their relationship develops. In one scene, he pulls her down into the dark; in the next, we see her sitting hesitantly by his side and him desperately promising her his power, his glory, his realm, whatever he can to get her to stay, and her response at this is to jump for joy. It feels like a lot passes in that time between abduction and engagement, when we are with Demeter, and I’m very interested in the growth of their relationship. I'm also deeply interested in everything that seems to go almost unspoken during Hades' proposal: does Persephone know why he wants her to eat the seeds? If so, how does she handle seeing her mother again, and why does she say it was by force? If not, how does she handle seeing her husband, who gained her hand through sheer trickery?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Persephone is too bright from her contact with the upper world, and her touch hurts Hades. Still, he wouldn't have her any other way.
    * Hades is surprised to find that his seduction of Persephone...actually isn’t that...necessary. Turns out, she's into this kidnapping rose/plot. A lot. Way more than he ever anticipated.
    * I would love to see babyfic from Hades' perspective. How does it feel to be the god of death, holding a very tiny, new life between your fingers?
    * Persephone is kidnapped by Hades and taken to the underworld, and while trying to talk to him to find out why he's kidnapped her, she realizes that they don't really speak the same language (whether figurative or literal). How do they bridge that gap?
    * Persephone finds out she is pregnant; the only problem is, she finds out in the summertime, and it's several months until the next time she can see her husband again, and she has no idea how he'll react to this.
    * I would to see a snippet of their first time having sex, particularly because it's hard to nail down when it happens: during her abduction and first stay in the underworld? After she eats the seeds? The first winter she returns back to him?

    Tekken:

Tekken was my very first fandom and it remains one I find pleasing. I love how DARK this world is (Kazuya's life is almost over the top as a tragedy) yet also, completely unafraid to be comedic and at times downright wacky (see: the life and times of Paul Phoenix). I love the soap-opera level relationships and would love to see a slice of any of them! I kind of am fascinated by how downright abusive many of the characters' pasts are (particularly the Mishimas and the Williams) and to what degree it affects them today -- and I also want to know what it's like to be in a world where like, the most important CEO spots are dictated by fighting competitions that include bears and kangeroos and, well, Paul Phoenix, notable extraterrestrial expert. It's that mix between bleak edgelord universe and completely whacky universe that has always got me, and I just - I love the characters, and the world.

Kazama Jun/Anna Williams: I love Jun, who so often winds up as kind of being relegated to "Jin's mom" and "Kazuya's ????", but she is so much more. Sure she's only in one canon game, but Jun is this badass cop for the protection of animals (in hot pants, natch, listen, that look was great in 1996 okay), and she's very dedicated to her craft, so much so she sees Kazuya Mishima, bad-ass mobster extraordinaire, and goes after him. (And gets him if, er, not in perhaps the way she intended.) And Anna, well, Anna is beautiful and plays into a lot of femme fatale stereotypes, but she's just as crafty as Jun is and equally as pushy. So obviously, I'd love to see them cross paths and wind up kissing. We all know Jun likes powerful people with less-than-optimal morals, and Anna is partial to being flirty already - so how do they get to the fireworks?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Jun and Anna are roommates during the tournament, and neither trusts the other.
    * Jun and Anna spar, but it's not just their reputations on the line.
    * Jun meets Anna in Kazuya's office, and Anna has her number.
    * Post-Tekken 2, Anna visits Jun before deciding to be frozen alongside her sister.
    * Jun discovers Anna has a relationship with her siblings similar to Jun's relationship with her brother.
    * Anna tails Jun Kazama and is surprised by what she finds the goodie-goodie cop doing.

Lee Chaolan | Violet/Mishima Kazuya: Oh boy. Their sibling relationship is insanely complicated to start with — Japanese rich boy vs. adopted Chinese brother from the slums, with an overbearing father who put them both against each other. Add to that the humiliation Lee suffers by Kazuya using him as a secretary in Tekken 2, and then Kazuya's death at the end of the tournament... Well, suffice to say that these two don't have a baseline for normal even before Kazuya comes back as a half-dead crispy demon in Tekken 4 and Lee creating robots for the sheer purpose of taking on their family company. I'd love to see anything dealing with these two in the Tekken 7 world and beyond – how does Lee survive in a world divided between Kazuya and Jin? How does he handle having Kazuya's son in his care in T7 - does Kazuya know? What's Lee's reaction to Kazuya getting outed as a demon? How does Kazuya behave around Lee?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Kazuya isn't used to being pitied, and when his adopted brother tries to reach out to him, he's quick to slap it down - but Lee's offer stays with him.
    * Lee Chaolan knows how to control Kazuya through sex; Kazuya is aware of this weakness, and doesn't know what to do about it.
    * Lee Chaolan wouldn't call this love; Kazuya doesn't know what that is. But it's not nothing, the drag of one pair of lips to another.
    * Kazuya knows perfectly well that Lee Chaolan is Violet, but sometimes it's more fun to play dumb.
    * Violet seduces his former brother, thinking the man is a fake; it isn't until the clothes come off that this Kazuya is his Kazuya.
    * Kazuya finds out Lee is holding his son and confronts him over it. Lee gets out of trouble the same way he always has, with Kazuya.

Mishima Kazuya/Nina Williams: Honestly, what I really like about these two together is that they're both stone-cold killers. Neither of them has much in terms of feelings, and neither of them would regret knifing the other much. Both of them were severely abused children who were molded into weapons at a young age, and both of them also find themselves suffering from a huge time-skip where they're both these characters who are kind of lost out of time. Generally, they're on opposite sides, but I'd love to see these two cold-blooded steely souls find some peace (or what passes for peace for them) in one another.

    Prompt ideas:
    * Honestly, what does a slow day look like for these two? How many explosions are there?
    * Nina offers Kazuya a proposition. He is not opposed.
    * Nina finds out about Kazuya's demonic tendencies.
    * Kauzya's never met anyone who didn't mind a little bloodshed -- and then he met Nina.
    * The two try to kill one another (aka: date night).
    * "It was nothing. Goodbye."

Mishima Kazumi & Mishima Kazuya: Listen, Tekken 7 did one thing right by me, and that was to confirm that Kazuya Mishima was the biggest god damn mama's boy before his father got rid of his mother. Kazuya is fifty-something and STILL very deeply mad about how his mom died, in as much that Kazuya can feel anything. And, interestingly, Kazumi might not been a good influence on her son: she's just as demonically possessed, just as mad, and just as very, very intense as her almost namesake. I would love to have anything with her and Kazuya, especially with a focus on the devil that haunts their blood.

    Prompt ideas:
    * When Kazuya looks for Devil's face, he sees his mother.
    * Kazumi teaches baby! Kazuya how to draw upon a power that he doesn't quite understand.
    * Kazumi is the ghost that haunts the Mishima manor.
    * Kazuya Mishima sees his mother's ghost after killing Heihachi; they have a conversation.
    * Kazuya dies in Tekken 2, briefly, and the first person he meets in hell is his mother.
    * Kazumi Mishima leaves her son a letter he doesn't find until he's an adult.

Paul Phoenix/Kazuya Mishima: Listen, this silly rivalry from Tekken 1 is still so amusing to me. Paul Phoenix's storyline has only gotten whackier, and Kazuya's storyline has only gotten more serious and melodramatic. I adore these two and honestly, any interaction between them just tickles me.

    Prompt ideas:
    * Kazuya and Paul in Tekken 1, where they're roughly equal in status - much to Kazuya's chagrin.
    * Paul Phoenix boasts to Kazuya that he once beat Jin, and Kazuya doesn't care. Paul decides to up the ante in a badly formed plan to make Kazuya care.
    * Kazuya and Paul have a one-night stand while Kazuya's in America; Paul doesn't recognize who he is.
    * Paul shows up at G-Corp begging for a handout or a job; Kazuya finds humiliating use after humiliating use for him, but Paul doesn't take offense, much to Kazuya's chagrin.
    * Paul makes a Phoenix Smasher come on and much to his surprise it actually works.
    * Paul finds out about Kazuya's more demonic tendencies...and is turned on by them.

龍が如く | Ryuu ga Gotoku | Yakuza

Yakuza is a new fandom to me and I kind of adore how it can be both very silly (the Obatarian!) and very, very tragic. I have only cleared Yakuza 0, and would prefer works set in that time period, but I'm open to things set later so long as the reference point is something with Yakuza 0. Sorry that it has taken me roughly metrically forever to play through this series; I enjoy it but finding time is hard. :( I really love the world of Yakuza 0 though: there's something Tekken-like about it, the mix of the zany and the weighty with complex and hideous storylines, where there is so much violence and so much pain.

Kiryu Kazuma/Tachibana Tetsu: I love this pairing but it's so tragic. Tachibana is such a complicated character, and Kiryu no less so. They both come from these rather low backgrounds, and they’re both to some extent putting on masks against the world. Both seek power, but for different reasons - and both of them treasure brotherhood so much that it comes to bite them deeply in the ass. They're two very much of a kind, and considering Kiryu has a shower scene the first time you meet Tachibana, I don't feel like it's a stretch to see there are some erotic undertones to their relationship. I'd love to see some exploration of where their relationship goes in the time they have together.

    Prompt ideas:
    * Tachibana treats Kiryu out to a night on the town; Kiryu is a bit awkward about it, but comes to enjoy it.
    * Kiryu mistakes Tachibana's invitation as a sugar baby sort of deal - and Tachibana isn't entirely against it.
    * Kiryu and Tachibana go out to the disco together. Dancing reveals a truth they've been denying.
    * Tachibana showing off his power -- by kissing Kiryu in public.
    * Kiryu's first time with Tachibana.
    * Tachibana and Kiryu enjoy a quiet moment in Kiryu's office.

Majima Goro & Kiryu Kazuma & The Obatarian: I LOVE the Obatarian, one of Yakuza 0's most wacky stories. There's something so perfect about Majima being cowed by this older lady, who winds up working as a girl in the club (!). I can only imagine with delight what Kiryu would make of the Obatarian - he's a bit less smooth than Majima, and I think he's wind up getting tongue-tied even faster. Honestly, I just want hilarious hijinks here: how do they all meet? Does Majima recognize her? Does Kiryu think to take on the Obatarian, only to find himself left confused with a hard candy?

    Prompt ideas:
    * The Obatarian strikes back on Majima; Kiryu doesn't understand why Majima is avoiding her favorite place until he has a run-in herself.
    * The Obatarian runs into Kiryu, who has just run into Majima at the movies.
    * The Obatarian working at Majima's Club Sunshine - and Kiryu comes to call and winds up with her at his table.
    * The Obatarian starts a run of crime on a yakuza joint - and Kiryu comes to Majima for backup.
    * The Obatarian takes over a crime family, with hilarious results. Somehow, Kiryu and Majima get involved.
    * The Obatarian cuts her way through the hottest food line in town. Kiryu and Majima try to stop her, but she turns the situation around quickly.

Majima Goro/Sagawa Tsukasa: I love this pairing for the perfect mix of quiet malevolence and sudden violence that is Sagawa. It's clear Sagawa keeps Majima on a close leash, and equally clear that Majima is scared of him and respects him. This pairing is all about power, and honestly, I'd love to see any examination of how that happens - does Sagawa torture Goro while he's being detained, or threatens him with such? Or does he play the nice guy, which somehow makes Goro fear him more? How does Goro feel about having to grovel in front of him? How does Sagawa feel about the brief period when he and Majima are briefly equals at the end?

    Prompt ideas:
    * Majima needs a favor and finds Sagawa willing to bargain.
    * Cigarette smoking - or cigar smoking.
    * Sagawa makes Majima sit on his lap during a family meeting - to considerable horror.
    * Majima and Sagawa post-the ending of Yakuza 0. Particularly about Sagawa's actions at the very end in the board room.
    * Sagawa does a body shot off of Majima and it makes him feel things he shouldn't.
    * Sagawa helps Majima out -- and has his own reasons for doing so.
