Dear fellow Theater Patron

Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I am looking forward to seeing whatever you create! Feel free to go where the spirit moves you. Whether it be something sad, scary, fun, or just plain weird, as long as it avoids my DNW I am always down to play.

I consider all prompts as optional. If none of my prompts work for you or you’d rather just work with a likes list, please feel free to ignore my prompts entirely.

    Hadestown - Mitchell

    Characters/Groups: Any Character
    Requested Fanworks: Fanart, Fanfiction

For Hadestown, honestly I just LOVE the world. I feel like it is so very much it's own place and time, despite being don't ask where, don't ask when. I absolutely adore every character here and honestly I just want MORE. Do Hades and Persephone ever get it right, and how many attempts does it take them? What about Orpheus and Eurydice? Are they ever allowed to break free of the cycle they're in, whether together or apart? And Hermes and the Fates who so often seem to be the only characters who know what how the story ends -- how does this story look from their prospective? Are they making this happen again and again for a purpose, or is the time loop beyond their control? I'd love to see a quiet character moment or study focused on anyone or any relationship here. I feel like despite this only being a two hour musical, everyone here has SUCH depth. I know this is a very open prompt, so if you want something more concrete I pretty much always request Hadestown because I LOVE it and you can see prompts in some of my previous letters on my journal here

    Mythic! - Stevens/Eldor

Characters/Groups: Aphrodite (Mythic!), Group: Aphrodite & Persephone (Mythic!)
    Requested Fanworks: Fanart, Fanfiction

I wasn't expecting to walk away from Mythic! with Aphrodite my unquestionably favorite character, but it absolutely happened that way, and I don't even mind. I Feel like Aphrodite is so very, very easy in Act 1 to write off as this party girl, but she really grows through Act 2 and I LOVE how Aphrodite is not at all afraid to point out all the ways that her father's attitudes have completely ruined not only Demeter's standing on Olympus, but also potentially Persephone's life. She's surprisingly thoughtful and competent and I LOVE how Zeus goes from thinking she can't do anything to her being such an absolute boss -- literally the boss over her father. How does she take on the roll of being the queen of the gods? Does her father ever try to rebel? What sort of feats does she do?

I really love how her relationship with Persephone grows through time as well. She's so rude and dismissive to her in the beginning, but using her as a bit in her scheme really seems to unlock something within Aphrodite, and the way that she just absolutely goes to town to try to save her even if she isn't thrilled, and the way that she 100% embraces Demeter despite what must be a lot -- a lot! -- of bullshit she's been given about how not to. We never really get to see a lot of how Aphrodite reacts to Persephone being her half sister, but I feel like moderation isn't particularly part of her specialties and I would love to see something about what she does with Persephone when she comes back to the world above: through an epic welcome home party? Give her a job? Make her babysit dad?

    Anastasia - Flaherty/Ahrens/McNally

Characters/Groups: Group: Lily Malevsky-Malevitch/Vlad Popov (Anastasia Broadway), Group: Anya | Anastasia Romanov/Gleb Vaganov (Anastasia Broadway)
    Requested Fanworks: Fanart, Fanfiction

I really like the Vlad/Lily pairing in the show. It feels so scandalous in their past, and all their adventures! But they're quite a bit older, and they've survived a very turbulent revolution, and they've grown into entirely different people now, and I'd love to see some focus on what happens after they come back together in Paris, especially after Anya chooses to leave with Dimitri. How does Vlad take it? Does he become Lily's kept man? Does he keep running scams and begin a rogue, or does he retire from that life? Does Lily stick around with him, or is she no longer into such a scoundrel? What's going on in Paris?

For Gleb and Anya, I'm not really looking for a happy ending, but I can't help but wonder what might have happened had Anya accepted Gleb's invitation after "Rumor in St. Petersburg." What might have her life been if she had gone with him, and not Dmitri and Vlad? Would she be able to "pass" as a Good Soviet Citizen? Would Gleb still have that mystique and fascination about her? Would he ever believe that she is the lost princess Anastasia? What is like like under the soviet regime, when you're married to/are secretly a Romanov princess? Would he eventually help her escape Russia or insist they can keep her secret?

Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 - Malloy

Characters/Groups: Elena "Hélène" Vasilyevna Kuragina, Group: Natasha Rostova/Pierre Bezukhov/Hélène Kuragina, Group:Elena "Hélène" Vasilyevna Kuragina/Natalya "Natasha" Ilyinichna Rostova
    Requested Fanworks: Fanart, Fanfiction

Hélène is absolutely my favorite and even though she's not necessarily a major character in this, she just sparkles through the whole show. I want more of her adventures as the self-described slut of high society in Russia; she clearly seems to be encouraging things between Anatole and Natasha, but how would the story turn out if Natasha was a presence she found more alluring for herself? She clearly seems quite taken with the girl in "Charming" so honestly I feel like there's a lot of subtext there that would be fun to explore, whether it's focusing on Hélène's feelings alone, Hélène and Natasha, or even a Hélène, Pierre, and Natasha threesome. I'd really love to see what the dynamics might be like between Natasha and Hélène as "fallen women" post-canon, or how Hélène manages to balance her marriage with her relationship with Nat, or just some alternate fate for her.

(For this request I'd also prefer that Hélène gets to live to the end, rather than meeting the exact same fate as her War and Peace counterpart! Please don't kill her off. I don't mind if you'd rather she divorce Pierre or have them living separately or never been married, but I'd like her to be alive.)

Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier - Team StarKid

Characters/Groups: Group: Ja'far & Princess (Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Visier)
    Requested Fanworks: Fanart, Fanfiction

I really have a soft spot for the Starkid Ja'far musical. I am LIVING for the way it sends up the Disney style with some pretty fun critiques, and my favorite part of it is honestly the way it recontextualizes the relationship between Ja'far and the Princess as the concept between a father figure and the daughter who doesn't quite know what she wants yet in life. I really would love to see more of the Princess growing up; it doesn't seem like Ja'far seems to have really was aware that the princess was Scheherazade's daughter until the story opens, but did he ever notice how she looks like the woman he lost? Did they have conflict a lot as a child or was he more a friend and confidant for her?

    Medea - Euripides

    Characters/Groups: Medea (Euripedes)
    Requested Fanworks: Fanart, Fanfiction

I've always been fascinated by Medea because Medea is half-mortal but half-god as well, and as the grand-daughter of the sun itself, she truly has a god-like temper. Gods are allowed to do terrible things, and she's not even the only demi-god who slaughtered all their children (Hercules, after all, did the same). What I would like to see is what happens to Medea after the dead is done. What kind of society does she turn to: human? Gods? Does she fit in either one? What are the politics like of where she is? How does she cope with her feelings re: what happened with Jason and the children? Did it bring her any peace in the end? I know there's a wide variety of alternate endings for Medea after she disappears on her grandfather's chariot in canon: feel free to go with one of them, or choose a new alternate, but I really want to see how she picks up the pieces and reinvents herself from there. I'd especially love to see a focus on how the gods (greek or otherwise) where she is perceive her.
