AUEx Letter

Dearest Author and/or Artist from another Dimension,

Thank you for writing for me!  I am sure whatever you make for me, I will love it dearly and I am so excited to see it already! I tend to write long letters because -- well, let's be real, I can talk just about anyone's head off. Some prompts may be longer than others, but I assure you, it is merely because some of them I have trouble dictating anything more than "YES THIS PLZ". I am just as happy getting a slice of a longer AU as I am a massive fic of epic proportions, so please don't feel you have to go out of your way to make something large to fit a prompt.  Thank you for writing/drawing for me!  Please feel free to use my general likes as something you can base your fic/art on, and ignore my prompts entirely if they're not doing it for you. I love everything from G-rated gen fic to E-rated full on smut-bangs, so feel free not to hold back on my account. My DNW are few. If you are wondering if you can twist prompts/take them in different directions/etc. the answer is always yes. Whether it be something sad, scary, fun, or just plain weird, as long as it avoids my DNW I am always down to play.

Because this letter is so very long, I didn’t put down any specifically art prompts. But I would love artwork of a scene from any of these prompts or my general likes!

Star Wars Prequel Trilogy

Group: Dooku/Qui-Gon Jinn (SWPT)

I have always thought Dooku was something of a tragic figure that never quite gets his due in canon; he falls from grace off-screen and we only see him once he has fallen. Certainly, giving the timing, I think Qui-Gon's death had a lot to do with it. I'd love to see something that explores their relationship; were they close? What was it about Qui-Gon's death that so troubled Dooku? How did he wind up a Sith?

A Is a Ghost Only B Can See: I would love to see something dealing with Dooku's obvious mourning post-TPM; perhaps Dooku thinks he can see Qui-Gon. The other Jedi think he's crazy, but something makes him believe? Whether he actually can see Qui-Gon or not seems almost immaterial; I'd like to see how Dooku handles his grief and whether or not the ghostly visitations make him feel better or worse. Perhaps Dooku goes off the dark end trying to find a way to talk to Jinn — and succeeds? (But perhaps the drawbacks are grim.) Is Dooku is haunted by the shadow of a man he can never quite figuratively shake? What would Qui-Gon think of him now that he is a Sith Lord?

Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted
: I would love to see something moody here, once again dealing with Dooku's feelings in regards to Qui-Gon's death. Maybe Dooku keeps seeing Qui-Gon out of the corner of his eye, which leads to a mash rush of reading through the entire Jedi Order's library in hopes of finding out whether he is going insane or if Jedi ghosts are actually a thing? Does Qui-Gon give Dooku knowledge from the future? If he tells Dooku what happens, does this help Dooku get over Qui-Gon's death or does this have the opposite effect?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see a scene that might examine how the future might have changed if only Qui-Gon had not died on Naboo in TPM. What would happen to Dooku if Qui-Gon does not die on Naboo? Would Qui-Gon have been the one to fall? Would Qui-Gon's survival have meant he was training Anakin, or would the council perhaps have put Anakin with Qui-Gon's master, Dooku? Or would they have never backed down on refusing to train him at all? How would Dooku have helped Qui-Gon should this have happened?

Ghost trying to help the living: I would love to see something where ghost! Qui-Gon very cheerfully and deliberately haunts his former teacher/lover. Does Ghost! Qui-Gon keeps trying to tell Dooku the path he is walking is cursed? Or perhaps Ghost! Qui-Gon tries to help Dooku with the Confederacy, though Dooku doesn't trust him to remain impartial? Is ghost! Qui-Gon there when Anakin/Palpatine turn on Dooku?

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead: This is one of my favorite tropes and I would absolutely love to see Dooku being haunted by a ghost who doesn't even realize he's a ghost. I want pure, screwed up angst: ghost! Qui-Gon can't understand what's happening; Dooku can't figure out why he keeps showing up for him, and/or Dooku can't help him and has to just deal with Qui-Gon's popping up into his life from time to time. Perhaps it’s particularly hard in that ghost! Qui-Gon appears just as he once did, and it's quietly killing Dooku?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would love to see something where Qui-Gon and Dooku crash land on a deserted planet and they have to try to find rescue — if there is any. Perhaps Qui-Gon and Dooku crash during their younger days together and Dooku gradually realizes there isn't help coming and has to try to help his yang apprentice cope with this? Or perhaps ghost! Qui-Gon helps to rescue Dooku after he crash-lands on a deserted planet? Or perhaps they are stuck on a world together post-death, without anyone else around them — how do they deal with that? Is it heaven, hell, or nothing like it?

Time Loop: I would love to see something where Dooku is stuck reliving the time between Qui-Gon's death and his own. What does he learn over the multiple cycles? Does he ever try to change fate? Can he ever quite save Qui-Gon? What eventually breaks the loop?

Time Travel
Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
: I love a good time-travel AU and would love to see where you might throw Qui-Gon and Dooku. The universe is so different for them post- their deaths that I think they would find it very alienating to wind up in the OT or ST period. I'd also love to see something where Qui-Gon travels to the Confederacy, to the distress of Dooku, who still deeply mourns the boy he could not save. Is Qui-Gon uncomfortable with his own demise, and the fact he remains stuck with Dooku against the Jedi and Obi-Wan/Anakin? Or does he refuse to leave Dooku? Perhaps, on the other hand, Dooku is the one doing the time travelling and goes back in time to try to prevent Qui-Gon's death — but is that necessarily a good idea?

Dark Empress Padmé
Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion
Padmé Amidala survives and Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader doesn't
Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature
: What I would like to see for Dooku and Qui-Gon in regard to this is how these do deal in a future where these variables that don't affect them personally still change their lives. Assuming they both survive to the point where the Rebellion/Empire exists, how do they deal with Padmé's role in it? Do they fight against a Dark Empress Padmé? Does partisan! Padmé alienate them with her belief that the ends justify the means? Does rebel! Padmé recruit them, post Confederacy or in lieu of it? Do they help eldritch! Padmé control her powers? What is a future in which Dooku survives with Qui-Gon (or force ghost! Qui-Gon) but there is no Darth Vader? All of these change something major in time, and I'd love to know how Dooku and Qui-Gon can roll with these changes - or if they can't.

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force: I would love to see something where Dooku and Qui-Gon are sent to help someone who, for whatever reason, reaches force-sensitivity late and their new-found force sensibility is causing panic. How would they help this person? Would they agree on how to treat them, or would their methods differ? What might they learn about one another during this assignment?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror: I would love to see how Star Wars changes with this in mind! I would love to see something focused on Qui-Gon here, slowly losing his humanity as he becomes further indoctrinated in the Jedi ways, and slowly becoming more and more aware of the eldritch horror that lies in the darkest depths of the Jedi Temple's (living?) heart. How would he come to be involved with Dooku? What does Dooku think of his changing apprentice?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader
:  What might have happened had Anakin been a girl and not a boy? Would it change anything about Watto's consent to get rid of her? Would her slave background make her even further traumatized than she already was? Would Qui-Gon or Dooku hesitate to fight her, should they have survived long enough for Anakin (Anika?) to reach adulthood?

 Padmé Amidala (SWPT)

I love Padmé — she's so strong and so smart. While she doesn't have the same powers that Anakin and Obi-Wan and co do, she's always portrayed as both a competent warrior and a cunning strategist. I love how she is constantly the one that sees through Palpatine's plans, how she is constantly fighting to try to preserve peace. I've never believed that her end was at all satisfying and I'd love to see something post-canon concerning her ghost, whether it is literal (ex: Padmé haunts Anakin's ass) or figurative (ex: Leia contemplates her mother's legacy as the New Republic falls).

As far as ships, I love Padmé/Anakin, Padmé/Vader, Padmé/Palpatine, Padmé/Sabé, Padmé/Sabé/Anakin, Padmé/Ahsoka, and Padmé/Ahsoka/Anakin.

A Is a Ghost Only B Can See
Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted
: I would leave to see ghost! Padmé haunting the hell out of someone. Who it is doesn't matter to me; is Anakin, in the end, haunted by images of the woman he loves but who now is so wholly unattainable she only reminds him of what he lost? Is it Palpatine, enjoying keeping her from his apprentice by summoning her and gloating over his own cleverness? Is it her family on Naboo, mourning a woman whose life they barely knew? Or is it Luke or Leia, scared of their spectral protector? Or perhaps it's Ben, so far in the future but so much like the broken man she lost. Or maybe it's someone we might not think of - Bail, Mon Mothma, Mas Amedda, Owen, Beru, Breha, a handmaiden? Whether or not she is really there or a figment of trauma matters little to me; I want an exploration of the sudden ghost presence and how it changes the person being haunted.

Ghost trying to help the living: I would love to see, in addition to all of the above, I would love to see Padmé trying to help the living she left behind, especially if it is to mixed results. How does she haunt those she loves? Again, as above, who she haunts does not matter to me so much as what their reaction to it is. Do they understand that she is trying to help? Are they frustrated by this ghostly presence in their lives? What might Padmé do to "help" them?

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead: In addition to the other ghost prompts, I would be fascinated to see a Padmé ghost who does not realize that she is dead and continually interacts with those she left behind. How do they react to her presence? Is she confused about how they react to her? How does she not know she is dead? Is she confronted with the truth of this? Is she upset?

Canon Divergence AU: Padmé is somewhat unique in that there are so many points in her life where a different decision she makes would profoundly impact the galaxy. If Padmé doesn't leave the planet, then Valorum remains chancellor and Palpatine is denied his first major political victory. If Padmé chooses not to return and work with the gungans, then Naboo would have likely been under Trade Federation Rule for a long time. If she didn't tell Anakin to go to Tatooine, would he have fallen to the dark side? Would Obi-Wan have died since they would not have gone to Geonosis? Would the Clone Wars have even begun? If Padmé hadn't married Anakin, would she have chosen different positions during the clone wars? What might have happened had Padmé not accompanied Anakin to Mustafar? I would love to see a scene of one of those alternate futures we did not get in canon.

Stranded on a Desert Island: Padmé is such an important character in the Star Wars Universe that I'd kind of like to see what, exactly, happens when she is out of commission, like say - when she crashes into a desert island. Does everything at the senate grind to a halt until she is found? What does she do when she's all by herself? She's been shown to be a rather impressively resourceful individual so I think she could go full MacGyver rather gloriously.

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future:
I hate the tragedy of Padmé's death and I've always wondered what, if anything, she might have done differently had she somehow had the chance to. I think one thing that is particularly notable about her is that she is absolutely one of the smartest people in the prequel trilogy; she is the only character to ever see through Palpatine's schemes at any point, and I would absolutely love to see what might happen if she could somehow walk into the past and redo her decisions; how far back would she go? What decisions would she make? Would Palpatine ever realize that she has come from the future? Speaking of coming from the future: What if Padmé wound up somehow getting into the future and found herself in the OT or the ST? What would the world look like to her? How might her relationships change with those around her? If she did somehow change the past and was the only one to remember it, would she and she alone regret what she had lost, or feel that it was worth it for what they gained?

Dark Empress Padmé: I've always loved the AU where Padmé makes a metaphorical deal with the devil and actually goes along with Anakin's plan to make her queen of the galaxy. What is it like for her, suddenly in the position of unlimited power? Does she tell herself she is going to gradually return democracy to the galaxy? Does she still love Anakin? Does he still love her? What sorts of complications arise?

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force: I have always loved the unused ideas from ROTS that Padmé would become force-sensitive from the twins', at least temporarily, and would experience the drawbacks of this. Can Padmé suddenly find herself levitating things halfway through her pregnancy? How does she maintain control over these newfound (temporary?) powers?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror
Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature:
I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. I'd love to see something from Padmé's perspective about the Jedi she encounters during her time - is there something about the Jedi that she finds otherworldly? How does it feel to love someone dangerously close to feeling like a monster? Are the Force-sensitive always otherworldly, or do they become more so as they fall deeper into the force? How does she handle being pregnant with a force-sensitive child - and what sort of effects does that have on her? I love body horror and lovecraftian horror so please go nuts if you want to with this prompt. If you want to make Padmé herself an eldritch creature, then oh boy, I think Padmé's got a couple of really juicy details one could use I feel to make her some kind of force-driven nightmare: 1) She's Anakin's wife, and Anakin being the Force's chosen one could lead to her bending the rules of nature to his will. There's something really appealing about them both potentially being "monsters" and amalgamations of what they once were and something far, far darker. I'd love to see an exploration of that, especially if they are, somehow, still on different sides of the war. 2) It's a very popular theory that Palpatine used a sith technique to give Anakin her life-force; what if things went the wrong way and Anakin died and Padmé received his chosen powers - but at a high cost? 3) It's Padmé Amidala, if anyone is gonna become a god-damn eldritch resurrected horror, it's gonna be this woman, out of sheer stubbornness.

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion
Padmé Amidala survives and Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader doesn't
: I have always been frustrated in ROTS, with Padmé's weak, nonsensical death scene. I would far rather have had her live to fight another day and died at some point between ROTS and ANH — it's hard for me to imagine the Padmé of TPM, who came back from almost impossible odds to win back her homeland, would give up so readily simply because her husband chose the wrong decision. I'd also far rather see how she would deal with that decision, especially if Anakin is dead and gone and she has to live in a world where her children are the ones who have to live with his decisions. What is the Padmé Amidala post-ROTS, post-Anakin doing? Has she joined the rebellion? The partisans? Does she live in exile? If she has joined the Rebels or the Partisans, what sort of work does she do? Does she ever get to meet Palpatine face to face and confront him with what he did to her republic and her family? How does she handle the children?

SWPT: Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: I'd really love to see how their relationship might change had their roles been reserved or had they both been females. Would 63! Anakin have gone with the Jedi, or would s/he have found a home with Padmé's handmaidens, being a local hero of the Naboo? If you swap sexes entirely, how does Anakin's pregnancy change their relationship — especially given how long she is pregnant while she is deployed in the outer rim? How might their routes through life changed had Anakin been born a different gender? I'd particularly be interested to see how Anakin's history as a slave — and his relationship with Obi-Wan and Ahsoka — may change through the simple flip of his gender. How would Padmé handle Anakin’s pregnancy?

Group: Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker (SWPT)

Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker— I love these two goobers together. They love one another so much and it makes it so painful when it all ends, and it ends so badly. I'd love to see something that explores some of the routes not taken — bad futures they didn't hit, hauntings Anakin only wished he could experience, time loops, time-travel, regrets. I love these two and would love to see anything that explores how their relationship might change — for better or for worse. I am okay with them being broken up in a million new and more devastating ways or having the happy ending they were robbed of.

A Is a Ghost Only B Can See
Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted
: I absolutely adore the idea of Anakin or Padmé haunting the other. Whether you kill Anakin off early and he's a ghost who appears for her, and only for her, much to her own bewilderment, or if she is dead and haunting a Darth Vader who did everything in his power to save her, and now he's being visibly shown it wasn't enough. Give me sadness and angst and messed up relationship dynamics and let me absolutely revel in it. The sadder the better.

Ghost trying to help the living:
I would love to see something where Padmé or Anakin is trying to help the other, even after they've died. How exactly would Anakin help Padmé, or vice versa? Do they know they are dead? Is the character left alive thankful for this spectral aid, or are they just upset that it's just another reminder they can never touch one another again?

All: Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead: I would love to see something where Anakin, post-Mustafar, is absolutely haunted by a Padmé who keeps appearing toward him and not understanding that she is dead. How does he deal with this? Does he want her to stay, even if seeing her drives him mad? Does she know who and what he is, or she frightened by this monster who appears whenever she looks for her husband? Is she looking for her kids? Do they both suffer the hell of not having their children, if for vastly different reasons?

Canon Divergence AU:
I would love to see a way that their relationship didn't take these two. Would Anakin have fallen if they had never fallen in love in AOTC? What might their relationship look like, post-ROTS in this case? What if Padmé had survived ROTS. Would she have stayed by Anakin's side? What would they have done with the children? Or what if she had survived and left him, and is left fighting for a rebellion/partisans that may not trust her, especially if he loves Anakin but she hates him in equal measure, and boy is it complicated.

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future

Time Travel:
I would love to see Anakin try to change fate in order to prevent Padmé's death. How does he go about this? Is it successful? If she does survive, does she stay with him? Does he ever get to know his children? Does the experience wind up bittersweet, or does he regret nothing? If he gets caught in a time loop as a result of his actions, how does he manage to break out of it? Does he ever retain his memories of the first go-around, and, if so, how do these memories influence his experiences in the new universe he's made?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would really love to see something where Padmé and Anakin crash at some point and are faced with the potential life out in the deep solitude of an otherwise uninhabited planet. How do they make a go of it? Are they, perhaps, a bit grateful — for a little while, at least — to have time together where they can be uninhibited with their emotions? How do they manage to eventually contact the outside world, and is that contact bittersweet? What might have changed had they been stuck on a planet for a long while?

Dark Empress Padmé:  I've always loved the AU where Padmé makes a metaphorical deal with the devil and actually goes along with Anakin's plan to make her queen of the galaxy. What is it like for her, suddenly in the position of unlimited power? Does she tell herself she is going to gradually return democracy to the galaxy? Does she still love Anakin? Does he still love her? What sorts of complications arise?

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force:

Can Padmé suddenly find herself levitating things halfway through her pregnancy? How does she maintain control over these newfound (temporary?) powers? How would Anakin help her with these pregnancy powers? Would he be able to train her to do some things? Would it change their relationship for them to both suddenly have this deeper connection to one another's emotions?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I love the idea of Anakin/Vader continuing on with the Empire while Padmé lives to fight for democracy another day, but the two of them still remaining v. much unable to quite let go of one another. They're both frustrated the other has chosen a path they cannot follow, both sad that they have made these choices, and still both in love. Do they ever have time alone together? Does Anakin/Vader give Padmé information for the Rebs/Partisans? Does she prevent them from focusing on him? How might being the father of the Empire and the mother of the Rebellion really change their relationship? The more messed up and not-quite-healthy it is, the better.

The Force is an Eldritch Horror
Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature
: e: I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. How does she handle being pregnant with a force-sensitive child - and what sort of effects does that have on her relationship with Anakin? What sort of eldritch powers might they have combined? How does it change their sex life?

Padmé Amidala survives and Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader doesn't:  I have always been frustrated in ROTS, with Padmé's weak, nonsensical death scene. How does she handle the children in regards to their relationship with their father?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader:
I'd really love to see how their relationship might change had their roles been reversed (male Padmé/female Anakin) or had they both been females. Would 63! Anakin have gone with the Jedi, or would s/he have found a home with Padmé's handmaidens, being a local hero of the Naboo? If you swap sexes entirely or through particularly space magic that makes Anakin pregnant: how does Anakin's pregnancy change their relationship — especially given how long she is pregnant while she is deployed in the outer rim? How would Padmé feel about Anakin's pregnancy?

Group: Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Sabé

Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker/Sabé - I love these three as a poly V, where Padmé loves them both, and Sabé and Anakin are at least good friends — or more. I'd love to see how having one more person in the relationship might change things for Padmé and Anakin — could Sabé point out that hey, maybe Padmé should see a doctor if Anakin is so worried she will die? Does Sabé provide cover for the relationship between Padmé and Anakin, or is it a secret between all three? How do Anakin and Sabé deal with the space left between them when Padmé dies (or Padmé and Sabé when Anakin does)? How do they handle Padmé having force-sensitive babies and the toll that it takes on her body?

A Is a Ghost Only B Can See
Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted:
I would love to see something set post-Padmé's death where this threesome was together. How do Sabé and Anakin/Vader deal with her loss? Do they still seek comfort in the other, or are the battle lines between them drawn? Do they both see her ghost? If not, is the person who does not see her intensely jealous? What sort of haunting might these two have, and would it differ at all? Would they both seek to keep her ghost, or would one want to try to send her to the next world while the other wants to hold onto her spirit as long as possible?

Ghost trying to help the living:
I would love to see Padmé trying to help her lovers from the great beyond. How does she manage to do it? Does Sabé or Anakin/Vader appreciate it? Do they ever bond of their mutual haunting? Or does Padmé only favor one of the two with her help, leaving the other deeply jealous? How does her death and sudden strange help change the living two's relationship — does it bring them together, or does it tear them apart?

All: Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead
: I would love to see Padmé not realizing she was dead and still visiting Anakin/Vader and Sabé. How would the living two handle this confusing ghostly encounter? How would Padmé appear to them? Would they break the news of her death and how might she react? Would she even recognize Vader?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see how Sabé being present might change the romance between Padmé and Anakin? Would Anakin be jealous of Padmé's relationship with Sabé? Would Sabé try to block him from making any moves on Padmé? Or would she encourage her girlfriend/wife to get with that cute Jedi, and save a bit for her? Do they seduce Anakin rather than him attempting to seduce Padmé? Would the two seduce Padmé? How would they work out their relationship? How would they handle Padmé's pregnancy — or would it be Sabé who gets pregnant (or they both do!) in this AU? I really would just love to see how Sabé would change things.

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future

Time Travel
: I would love to see something where Vader goes back in time to prevent Padmé's death, and Sabé follows him into the past to try to make sure that he doesn't change things so that Padmé dies earlier/Empire triumphant/no rebellion/etc. However, when she finds out why he went to the past she is pleased and the two wind up trying to change the past to save Padmé for their own ends — but is it really a good idea? What might the two encounter — would they regret some of the futures they may see with Padmé? What if they get trapped in a time loop - how would they break out of it?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would love to see Sabé, Padmé, and Anakin crash landed onto a deserted island together and having to bond and do their best to survive together. I would love to see them having a slow burn three-way romance as they realize that they aren't going to be rescued any time soon and that they find more and more to admire about one another being trapped there — how do they come together? What happens, if anything, when they actually are rescued?

Dark Empress Padmé
Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion
: I would love to see how Sabé might change the relationship between Anakin and Vader in each of these quite different futures. Would Sabé help Padmé lead the Empire, per Anakin's wishes, even if she didn't agree with it? Would she really be able to stand by her friend even if she felt the Empire was an authoritarian regime? Would Sabé smuggle information to the rebellion/partisans on behalf of Padmé, being held hostage by their ex, Anakin? Or if they are in the partisans — would Sabé or Padmé feel bad about the fact that Anakin was on the other side of the war? Would they feel guilty about the deaths that the Partisans/Rebellions caused? Would they even meet back up with Anakin again, and if so, what would happen, should they be on opposite sides of the war?

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force: I have always loved the unused ideas from ROTS that Padmé would become force-sensitive from the twins', at least temporarily, and would experience the drawbacks of this. Can Padmé suddenly find herself levitating things halfway through her pregnancy? What if Sabé got pregnant at the same time - would their powers amplify, given they would both share the same father? How does she maintain control over these newfound (temporary?) powers? How would Anakin and/or Sabé help her with these pregnancy powers? Would he be able to train her to do some things? Would Sabé manage to keep her calm? Would it change their relationship for them to both suddenly have this deeper connection to one another's emotions? How would these new found powers impact their sex life?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror
Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature:
I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. I'd love to see something from Padmé's perspective about the Jedi she encounters during her time - is there something about the Jedi that she finds otherworldly? How does it feel to love someone dangerously close to feeling like a monster? Are the Force-sensitive always otherworldly, or do they become more so as they fall deeper into the force? How does she handle being pregnant with a force-sensitive child - and what sort of effects does that have on her relationship with Anakin and/or Sabé? What sort of eldritch powers might they have combined? How does it change their sex life?

Padmé Amidala survives and Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader doesn't:  I'd really love to see something about Padmé and Sabé dealing with their Jedi lover dying and how they handle this. How would they pull together? Would they make it through without Anakin, or would they drift apart? What would their galaxy look like, without Darth Vader?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: I would love to see how Anakin being female might change the dynamic between Padmé and Sabé. Would they take her to Naboo with them when the Jedi rejected her? Would they make her a fellow handmaiden? If she is a Jedi, how do Sabé and Padmé deal with her when they meet with her again in AOTC? How might ROTS change if Anakin has two people supporting her? How would their romance play out? Would Anakin still fall, as a female? Would the pregnancy situation come up (the force works in mystery ways, after all), and if so, how do they deal with it?

Padmé Amidala & Leia and/or Luke:

I've always wondered what the twins' lives would be like had their mother been in their life in some way, whether as their mother, a stranger they run into, or as a ghost. I feel like Padmé would have loved the children and I've always wondered how their lives would change had their mother simply remained with one or both of them — in some way. How might it have changed them growing up? How would she handle the topic of their father? IF Padmé is a ghost, how does she feel watching her children grow up and knowing neither she nor Anakin will ever had a hand in their upbringing? Note: I've combined the prompts as I would be happy receiving a prompt for Leia or Luke with their mother, or both twins together! I've mostly used they as a pronoun for all three options, but I would be satisfied with Luke, Leia, or both twins with their mother!

A is a Ghost Only B Can See
Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted:
I would love to see Padmé interacting with the twins somehow after her death and all the problems that this might cause their adopted parents. What would Bail or Breha or Owen or Beru say about this? Would they recognize her? If only Luke and or Leia can see her, do they find her a comforting presence or are they scared of her? Are they spooked by their memories when they realize that she is a ghost they are both haunted by?

Ghost trying to help the living: I would love to see Padmé somehow manifest in the force in away to help Luke and/or Leia out. Do they realize they are being haunted by a ghost? Do they feel frightened by this help? Does she somehow find a way to comfort them without them ever knowing who or what she is?

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead: I just want something from Padmé’s POV to absolutely break my heart. Padmé trying to comfort her babies? Padmé trying to keep them from being torn apart? Padmé not understanding as they get bigger how time keeps passing that she can't understand? Go full angst and make me cry.

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see a fic where Padmé keeps one of the twins {or both} and has to adjust to her new life as a single mom rebel/partisan/senator/etc. I can't imagine Anakin would ever stop looking for her and I would love to see her stand up to him. But more than that, I would love to see how she might have changed the twins fates, how her intercession may have made their lives better - or worse!

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Time Loop
Time Travel:
I would love to see what might have happened had Padmé’s past been changed, giving her more of a future than she has in canon. Do (either of) the twins time travel to try to keep the republic from falling? Does Anakin try to prevent her death? Do the rebellion need info only she held? How do they get to her? How does she react when she learns why she has, briefly, become the most important person in the galaxy? Does their time-traveling have repercussions, like being trapped in a time loop? How do they break it? Are there things about their mother that they might not have expected?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I can't see Padmé quite being happy about it, but I can easily see her being forced to retire in an otherwise uninhabited space because I can't imagine Vader or the emperor would be willing to let her and the children be. I if she survived in such a state, how would Luke and Leia feel. About growing up in a place where they literally know no one? How would Padmé feel about it? How would she come to gross with the idea of being basically in exile?

Dark Empress Padmé:  I love dark empress Padmé and would love to see how growing up with your mom being an (uncomfortable or hesitant?) empress. Or has Obi-Wan taken the children, and they grow up with their parents being monsters that they're fighting against? Either way I would love to see Leia or Luke coming to terms with their mother’s legacy, for good or ill.

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force:  I would love to see something cute about Padmé helping the twins to somehow use the force... Or perhaps vice versa, where the twins use the force to help their mother connect with the force?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I'd really love to see a viewpoint on Luke and Leia growing up with the partisans or the rebellion. Would Padmé even be able to be with her children, or would they be raised by others who could guarantee their safety? Would she regret raising them or seeing them raised as foot soldiers for an army? How might their relationship be changed? Do either of the children. Push back by leaning imperial?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror
Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature
: I would love to see something that deals with the other worldliness of force users, especially the relationship between a normal mother and her force sensitive children. There are not a lot of lovecraftian stories that take place from a mother/child perspective and I would absolutely love to see that sort of maternal viewpoint. Not picky about how old the kids are or if it is a relationship with one of the twins or both. Padmé being horrified/tantalized by the burgeoning consciousnesses within her, opening her up to new worlds? Children with knowledge they should not have? Anakin or another Jedi sending her messages from beyond the grave or through the stars?

Padmé Amidala survives and Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader doesn't: I would love to know what either of the twin sought have become had they been robbed of their father’s legacy and not their mothers. What might they made of Anakin’s legacy? What might they have become with loving mother and no deep breathing menace to fight? Would the empire rise and have such a lasting legacy, with Padmé still in the world? Would Padmé feel guilty about living alone, or could she move on? Is Anakin gone because he died a hero or a villain? If the latter, did Padmé kill him? What happens if one of her children (or both) finds this out?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader
:  I would love to see what might happen in a world where Anakin is the mother of the children, either along with Padmé or Padmé being an absentee father. How might her relationship with the twins change if she is the non birthing parent? How might the twins view their parents differently?

Group: Padmé Amidala/Sabé (SWPT):

I love these two and think they are so brave and so smart in defending their homeland. I'm always interested in seeing how their relationship changes through the years, and I'd love to see the many (!) roads not taken with them, especially since Sabé basically vanishes from the narrative after Episode I. I'd love to see something about what happened to them post-Episode II or III, whether it deals with Padmé's death or prevents it in some large way.

A Is a Ghost Only B Can See
Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted
: I would love to see something dealing with the grief that comes with a young life being interrupted. Perhaps Sabé dies during the Clone Wars or sometime late in Padmé's second term, or Sabé learns of Padmé's death in ROTS and is overcome with grief. I would love to see some Naboo world building here about the role of ghosts in their culture — do they fear them? What would be their reaction at seeing the ghost of someone they saw that they had once loved? How can they interact with one another? Is there actually a ghost, or is the other woman a figment of a dearly-wished for daydream?

Ghost trying to help the living: Similar to the above, I would love to see a ghost trying to influence their beloved from beyond. I'm not fussed as to whether it is Padmé or Sabé, just that one of the girls is undergoing a major crisis and the ghost of the other is trying to reach out from the beyond to help them. How do they do this? Is their message understood to be from them, or does the other person simply think it is good favor? What exactly is the item that sets them on their path?

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead
: I just want full angst on this one. Perhaps Sabé dies during Padmé's reign, and Padmé wakes up from time to time with Sabé near her, still protecting her even through death? Or, worse, still in her final death throws? I would love to see how this might affect Padmé and her relationships with the living - how can she be an effective senator if she has a literal ghost in her closet?

Canon Divergence AU: Sabé seems to absolutely disappear from the narrative after TPM and I've always wondered how the prequels might have been changed with Sabé still a part of Padmé's life? Would Anakin have even been sent with Padmé to Naboo, with a bodyguard like Sabé available to protect her? Would Anakin not ever meet up with Padmé again, and if so, how might her life have changed without Anakin at her side? What might Sabé have done if she discovered Padmé was pregnant in ROTS? Would she have possibly changed her queen's life? How would Padmé affect Sabé's life?

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Time Loop
Time Travel
: I would love to see what might happen if Padmé or Sabé got stuck in a time-loop that ran from the Naboo invasion to Padmé's death. How do they get into such a thing? How do they get out? What sort of changes might she make, knowing that she will have another chance to prevent the mistakes of the past? I'd also love to see something where one or both of these ladies time travel from the PT to the OT or even the ST - how do they react to the far-different universe then, when the republic that they served is all but space dust? I'd love something somewhat bittersweet about two young women stuck in a scary and uncertain new future together.

Stranded on a Desert Island: I couldn't think of something Padmé would hate more than being stuck on a desert island, far away from anyone and being unable to do anything. I'd love to see how Sabé would deal with this scenario; how they might deal with the life of such a rather basic existence (especially if one is used to a palace). How does Sabé comfort her? Do they ever get home? What is life on a desert island like?

Dark Empress Padmé: I would love to see how Sabé might change the relationship between Padmé and Vader in each of these quite different futures. Would Sabé help Padmé lead the Empire, per Anakin's wishes, even if she didn't agree with it? Would she really be able to stand by her lover, even if she felt the Empire was an authoritarian regime? Would Sabé smuggle information to the rebellion/partisans on behalf of Padmé, being held hostage by Anakin?

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force: I would love to see Sabé's reaction to her lover being able to suddenly use the force (perhaps Padmé is still pregnant with the twins and Anakin is simply the sperm donor, or perhaps the force just works in mysterious ways?). How does Sabé deal with the suddenly new powers of her lover? How does Padmé deal with experiencing the world with a whole new sense? Does this change their sex life at all?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion
: How do Padmé and Sabé find their way to the Partisans/the Rebellion? What is their life like? What sort of missions might they undergo? How do they maintain their love in such high-stakes situations?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror
Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature:
I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. I'd love to see something from Padmé's perspective about the Jedi she encounters during her time - is there something about the Jedi that she finds otherworldly? How does it feel to love someone dangerously close to feeling like a monster? Are the Force-sensitive always otherworldly, or do they become more so as they fall deeper into the force? If Padmé and Sabé do wind up getting pregnant through a force-sensitive, how do they handle being pregnant with a force-sensitive child - and what sort of effects does that have on her relationship with Sabé? What sort of eldritch powers might they have combined? How does it change their sex life?

Padmé Amidala survives and Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader doesn't: I would love to see what might change if Anakin had died on Geonosis. Does Padmé feel guilty for having survived, when Anakin didn't? How does she handle developing feelings for Sabé? Does she feel guilty? How does the Republic change, and how does Padmé and Sabé's relationship change with it?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: I would love to see if Anakin being female might change anything about Padmé and Sabé's relationship. Would a female Anakin try to encourage Padmé to get together with Sabé? Would Sabé or Padmé's decisions regarding Anakin change?

Group: Padmé Amidala & Sola Naberrie (SWPT)

Their relationship exists mostly on the cutting room floor and like with Luke/Leia, I'd like to see an exploration of what happens to Padmé's family when she is gone (or, perhaps, not entirely gone!). What does Sola do trying to survive this strange new world? Is she haunted by Padmé, literally or not? Does she try to change the past the prevent Padmé's death? Where did she go?

A Is a Ghost Only B Can See
Canon Character can see ghosts
Character is haunted
: I would love to see how Padmé's death might affect her sister. Does Sola feel haunted by the long shadow of her younger sister - either figuratively or literally? I'd love to see Naboo world building and experience how hauntings might work in this culture. How does Sola feel about seeing her sister's ghosts? Can she interact with her, or is she doomed to merely watch Padmé repeat actions she made in life repeatedly? How does her sister haunting her affect Sola?

Ghost trying to help the living: I would love to see how Padmé might help to comfort Sola, post ROTS. How does she do this from the afterlife? How does Sola take it? Is there a way Padmé could help her that would make Sola sure that it was for her?

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead: I would love to see something absolutely angst where Padmé is confused about the fact she is dead and Sola is uncertain how to bring her sister's spirit to rest. How does she see Padmé? How can she help her? Again, Naboo world building about ghosts would be absolutely amazing.

Canon Divergence AU:
I would love to see what might have happened had Sola become Queen, not Padmé. What would be the differences in their reigns? How would Sola handle the Trade Federation invasion? Would she still have married Darren so young, and if so, how might that have affected her role as a Queen? Would she have become Senator, like her sister before her? Or would she have treaded her own path?

Time Travel:
I would love to see Sola somehow either figure out a way to go back in time or to somehow wander into it and realize she may be able to bring her sister into the present. How would she go about this? What sort of drawbacks might occur if she tries to prevent her sister's death? Would they get stuck in a time loop, or would the future somehow be worse with Padmé in it than the world with Padmé without it? How would Sabé decide which future to live in?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I couldn't think of something Padmé would hate more than being stuck on a desert island, far away from anyone and being unable to do anything. I'd love to see how Sola would deal with this, how they might deal with the life of such a rather basic existence (especially if one is used to a palace). How does Sola comfort her sister? How does she live with the idea neither of them might see their families again?  Do they ever get home? What is life on a desert island like?

Dark Empress Padmé
 Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion
: I just really want to know what Sola's feelings in regard to her sister in each of these scenarios might be. How would she feel about her sister in any of these scenarios? Would she approve of what her sister had wrought, or would she wind up fighting against her? What might she feel compelled to do in response to her sister choosing one of these futures?

Non Force-sensitive character can use the Force
: How does Sola react when she realizes that hers sister is pregnant and has gained the power of the Force? Is Padmé scared of this, or secretly thrilled? Does Sola help her keep this secret, or does she encourage Padmé to seek help from the Jedi Council? How might her choices reflect their relationship?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader:
I'd really love to see how Sola’s reaction might change if Padmé brings home her first girlfriend: Anakin Skywalker. How does she react to Padmé's new Jedi friend? How might Anakin being female change their relationship?

Star Wars Original Trilogy

Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader (SWOT)
Vader: I absolutely love the tragedy of his life — and all the potential tragedies that we don't get to see. Or, perhaps, things going well for him — but, being him, I'm sure it's only bittersweet. I would love to see his attempts to change his sad, sad past and whether or not that works or not - well, either way, I'd like to see the journey. I'd also love to see something post-canon or something that deals with the body horror through various scenarios - living post ROTJ with prosthetics he might not be able to replace, the horror of having her children ripped out of her in a rule 63 universe, being slammed back into his younger body, or something else entirely. I just love anything exploring him, from what went wrong to what didn't.

In terms of ships, I tend to prefer Vader/Padmé, Vader/Leia, Vader/Luke, Vader/Piett, or Vader/Ahsoka.

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Main character goes back in time to the body of their younger self and changes what happened:
Of all the characters, certainly I think Anakin has the regrets necessary to want to unwind the hands of the clock. If he went back in time, what would he do? Would he straight-out try to save Padmé? If he did, would he be able to change enough that they would stay together, or would be constantly being seeing her at a distance? If he went back in time to try to raise Luke or Leia, would he be able to handle keeping them safe from Palpatine? What would it be like to be in his younger body again? I'd love to see the differences for Anakin, who spent so long getting used to a machine body only to have to once again adjust to his flesh and blood body. I'd love to see something focusing on his precognition powers, too — perhaps he can't go back to Padmé, but can do something to keep Luke or Leia from harm?

Character is haunted
Ghost trying to help the living
Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead:
I absolutely adore the idea of Anakin getting absolutely haunted by Padmé. He is so grief-worn by the end of ROTS; I would love to see what happens when just a shadow of her appears to him.  I love her being  is dead and haunting a Darth Vader who did everything in his power to save her, and now he's being visibly shown it wasn't enough. Give me sadness and angst and messed up relationship dynamics and let me absolutely revel in it. The sadder the better; want to make it so she just holds her throat whenever he sees her? Great. That's horrifically sad and I just want to know how he thinks of her.  Is he thankful to have even this little bit of her? Is it just more proof he is cursed? I would also love to see something exploring Anakin's relationship with the twins, post-ROTJ.

Dark Empress Padmé: I'd love to see what would happen if Vader got his government ideal: government headed by his wife, especially if Padmé isn't into this idea. Would he force her to remain on the throne? would divisions pop up between them, and if so, how would he handle it? Would he be blindly loyal to her, or would he start to craft his own plans? How would making her empress change their marriage?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I'd love to see bittersweet Vader/Padmé where they're still in love, but also hate one another almost as much, serving on totally different sides of vicious war. Would they meet again on the battlefield? Would they be able to ever have ceasefires? Would they pass one another info? Or would every fight be almost to the death, but find neither of them able to quite pull the trigger, as much as a part of them would want to? What would they do when their governments ordered the elimination of the other?

Darth Vader Knows Leia Is His Daughter But Not That Luke is His Son:
I would love to see what this looks like, either through his eyes or hers. Is Vader obsessed with the daughter as much as he was with the mother? Does he tell her? If not, how does he keep tabs on her? Does he watch her speeches; follow her in the rebellion with a dizzying amount of spies? If so, what does he learn? And what does she think of all this attention? What does she think of the potential revelation?

Darth Vader survives ROTJ: This is a question I've always wanted to see more exploration of. What would have happened had Anakin survived ROTJ? I don't see the Rebellion accepting him as a valid government figure, but could he have held the Empire at bay and induced a fragile peace? What kind of relationship would he have with his family? Would things turn out better, the same, or worse than what we've seen with the sequel trilogy? Would Anakin have any relationship at all with his grandson?

Leia Organa is raised by Darth Vader
Luke Skywalker is raised by Darth Vader:
I'm placing these together because the story I am interested in is similar: How on Earth would either of these kiddos have turned out if they'd been raised by their birth father? At what point did he find them, and how does Vader deal with raising the kids while still handling his career and Palpatine all at once? How would his health issues hamper his relationship with his children — after all, he can't exactly hug them the way a normal dad would. I would love to see something that deals with those struggles, along with how Luke and/or Leia might change over time — do they acquire more of Anakin's traits? Is any part of them changed for the better? What is their relationship with their father like?

Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side: I would love to see what has to be Yoda's worst nightmare, that Luke falls to the dark side, either by accepting Vader's offer on Bespin or Endor, etc. What do the Jedi do, if they're still alive? How do his Rebel friends do - do they notice the changes in him? Does he wind up going over to the imperial side? And Vader - oh Vader - what does he feel about this? IS he a proud father, or does he live to regret his decisions?

Padmé is Mon Mothma:
I love this old crack theory that was floating around in the old prequel days. What if it were true and Padmé faked her death, later replacing the real Mon Mothma as the leader of the Rebel Alliance when Mothma is killed? Would Anakin/Vader ever figure it out? Would they have a sort of tentative tet-a-tet if he did, or would he decide that it didn't matter, that she had to die just like the other Rebels? Would she tell him about the kids? How would he take this news?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: I would love to see how Vader's legend might be changed if Vader were/became female? Is Lady Vader's public image more mysterious because of her sex? More sympathetic if the story of her children being cut out of her is known? What does it change about her legend?

Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature: I would love to see Vader find Padmé again after all these years as a sort of eldritch creature. How does he deal with this? Does he kill her, thinking that this is what she would likely have wanted? Does he accept that she, too, is an amalgamation of man and monster and keep her by his side, figuring a mad abomination of his wife is still his wife? How would he handle her powers?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see basically any turn-left-instead-of-right scenario for Anakin. What would happen if he figured out Leia was his daughter on the death star? What would happen if Anakin/Vader had found Luke during one of his Tatooine visits? What if Anakin were haunted by Shmi or, if one of the twin's died, by them? I'm willing to see pretty much any scenario for him, whether it was bad or good.

Group: Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader & Leia Organa (SWOT)

Their relationship has always fascinated me because they are so similar in their temperaments and yet so different in their values — and I'd love to see pretty much anything about them interacting.  There are so many points where they could interact but didn't, where Vader could have found out their relationship (but didn't!), where Leia could have fallen (but didn't). I'd love to see an exploration of any of the twists and turns they could have gone down, whether it might have worked out well or really, really bad. I imagine either way, it would have a lot of conflict!

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Main character goes back in time to the body of their younger self and changes what happened:
I'd love to see the Leia of the sequel trilogy somehow have to travel back in time in order to get Vader for some large fight in the future against the FO or another enemy. What would she do if she discovered her gift of pre-cognition was his, and that neither of them had ever been able to travel far enough far or back to be able to change what they really wanted to? I'd love to see something bittersweet where these two long-held enemies hold common-ground - but perhaps even that isn't enough to change the future from going bad.

Character is haunted
Ghost trying to help the living
Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead:
I would love to see something where Leia winds up being haunted by her birth father post-ROTJ and really has a hard time with it. She's never wanted a relationship with him, but he does want one with her, and she winds up endlessly frustrated by him. Whether the haunting is literal and real (e.g. blue force ghost Anakin leaning over her bed one morning) or figurative (e.g. Leia being haunted by Vader's long shadow, especially once her relationship to him is revealed). How does she real with this? Is he able to help in any way? Can she, somehow, forgive him? If he doesn't know he is dead, how does he react to Leia telling him this?

Dark Empress Padmé
: I would love to know what would happen to Leia if Padmé were put on the Imperial throne. Would Leia grow up with her biological parents and if so, what would her relationship with Vader be? Or would Padmé have smuggled Leia away, trying to give her a chance at a normal life away from the intrigue of the Imperial court? How would Vader react to learning if she did such a thing?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I would love to see how Vader's relationship with his daughter might have been shaped had Padmé been living. If Padmé lived on to fight another day, then I think Leia might know more about her father than she does in canon and I can't help if it would lead her to pity him more. Would he know about their blood relationship? Would they both wish to have a relationship for one another, or would Leia be even angrier with him? How would he react to her growing up so close and yet so far away?

Darth Vader Knows Leia Is His Daughter But Not That Luke is His Son:
How would Bespin have turned out if Vader had discovered a different truth in the years between ANH and ESB? How would she react to his offer? Would he have a different plan of attack versus Luke?

Darth Vader survives ROTJ: This is a question I've always wanted to see more exploration of. What would have happened had Anakin survived ROTJ? I don't see the Rebellion accepting him as a valid government figure, but could he have held the Empire at bay and induced a fragile peace? What kind of relationship would he have with his daughter? Would things turn out better, the same, or worse than what we've seen with the sequel trilogy? Would Anakin have any relationship at all with his grandson?

Leia Organa is raised by Darth Vader: How would Leia have turned out if she’d been raised by Anakin? At what point did he find them, and how does Vader deal with raising the kids while still handling his career and Palpatine all at once? How would his health issues hamper his relationship with his child — after all, he can't exactly hug her the way a normal dad would. I would love to see something that deals with those struggles, along with how Luke and/or Leia might change over time — do they acquire more of Anakin's traits? Is any part of them changed for the better? What is their relationship with their father like?

Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side: I would love to see Leia's POV on this as it happens. She takes such a gamble on Endor, letting him go alone — what if he didn't succeed, and she was alone? How would she handle Luke's fall? What would this do to her relationship with Vader, which wasn't exactly strong to begin with? Would she try to take him out in hopes of getting her Luke back?

Luke Skywalker is raised by Darth Vader:
How would Leia feel about Luke and Vader had he grown up with her father, while she still grew up with Bail and Breha? Would they always be enemies? Would she be thankful that that was, so very nearly, her? How would seeing Luke change how she felt about Darth Vader?

Padmé is Mon Mothma: I feel like Vader would go ballistic if he found out Padmé had been living all this time and had kept his children from him. How would Leia's relationship with her father have changed if she was under her mother's guidance all her life? Or, worse, would Vader have the wrong idea and in truth, Leia would have grown up with Bail and Breha and had no idea of her heritage. How might she react to finding out the rebel leader she looked toward was her mother — would it make her more or likely to accept Vader as her father? What strain might this place on this relationship?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: If Vader is female, how does Vader's relationship with his daughter change? Is Leia more sympathetic to Vader should he be female, or is their relationship the same as canon? Is her fear of becoming Vader more pronounced should they be the same gender?

Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature: I would love to see Leia discover that Padmé is alive, if ...changed, and somehow Vader and her would deal with this discovery at the same time. How would they deal with this situation? Would they fight together against her mother/his wife? Or would they disagree?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see how these two might have come to actually come together at some point. Perhaps Luke fails to rescue Leia from Jabba, and she has a rather unusual savior? Perhaps Vader is captured by the Rebel alliance and Leia feels a pang for her enemy? I feel like these two rarely get any interaction together compared to Luke and Vader and I would love to see anything wherein the two are interacting.

Group: Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker (SWOT):

I love these two because it's so obvious that Anakin/Vader sees a lot of Padmé in his son. Both of them obviously have feelings regarding the other but neither one of them really wants to leave the side that they're on, and as such there's so many temptations where one could have crossed the line for the other, where one could have changed things just for the other. I'd also love to see how their relationship might have changed had neither of them known their relationship to one another — would Luke be an annoyance in his side? A painful reminder of what he had once been?  '

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Main character goes back in time to the body of their younger self and changes what happened:
I would love to see what might happen if Luke, so sore from losing Ben, uses the Jedi texts on Atch-To to time travel back to a simpler time. Perhaps he wants to get his dad's advice or wants to change fate so that he won't be the only one there for Ben (and perhaps with the assumption that Ben's Vader-obsession may be nipped in the bud by actually having grown up with the man?). Perhaps he just wants to escape the fact that he feels he's failed Leia; how might he change the future, and was it really a good idea? During the OT, what might happen if Luke inherited Vader's ability to see the future and saw his father's death — how would he travel back in order to make this right? Could he? Would either of these acts have unforeseen consequences?

Character is haunted
Ghost trying to help the living
Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead:
I absolutely adore the idea of Anakin haunting Luke and trying to help him through his grief during the OT and later. They had time together, but perhaps t wasn't enough. Give me sadness and angst and messed up relationship dynamics and let me absolutely revel in it. The sadder the better; does Vader's intercession cause problems? Is he able to aid Luke in any way? If Anakin doesn't understand that he's dead, how does Luke break this to him? How does he handle it? Does Vader's existence in his life continue to cause tension with his living friends/relatives?

Dark Empress Padmé: I would love to know what would happen to Luke if Padmé were put on the Imperial throne. Would Luke grow up with his biological parents and if so, what would her relationship with Vader be? Or would Padmé have smuggled Luke away, trying to give him a chance at a normal life away from the intrigue of the Imperial court? How would Vader react to learning if she did such a thing?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I would love to see how Vader's relationship with his son might have been shaped had Padmé been living. If Padmé lived on to fight another day, then I think Luke might know more about his father than he does in canon and I can't help if it would lead him to pity him more. Would he know about their blood relationship? Would they both wish to have a relationship for one another, or would Luke be angrier with him for abandoning his family? How would he react to Luke growing up so close and yet so far away?

Darth Vader Knows Leia Is His Daughter But Not That Luke is His Son:
How would Luke's life change if he wasn't being hunted by Darth Vader mercilessly? Would his relationship with Leia change if this truth reveal happened to be flipped? Would she be able to tell him the secret she holds deepest? How would Vader react to the pilot who blew up the Death Star - would he even care about him, now that he has his daughter in his sights?

Darth Vader survives ROTJ: This is a question I've always wanted to see more exploration of. What would have happened had Anakin survived ROTJ? I don't see the Rebellion accepting him as a valid government figure, but could he have held the Empire at bay and induced a fragile peace? What kind of relationship would he have with his son had they been able to take out the Emperor together? Would things turn out better, the same, or worse than what we've seen with the sequel trilogy? Would Anakin have any relationship at all with Leia/Ben/etc and how would Luke try to even explain what had happened up there to the rebel leadership?

Leia Organa is raised by Darth Vader:  How would Luke feel about his sister and Vader had she grown up with her father, while he still grew up with Beru and Owen? Would Leia and Luke always be enemies? Would he be thankful that that was, so very nearly, his own fate? How would seeing Leia change how Luke feels about Darth Vader? Would he feel either of them were capable of redemption?

Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side: I have always seen Luke's strife being central to his own compassion; if anyone knows that the road to hell is laced with good intentions, its Luke. How does Luke fall? Does Vader ever feel pity for having turned his son to this, or is he just ecstatic to have his son back in his life after all this time?

Luke Skywalker is raised by Darth Vader: How would Luke have turned out if he'd been raised by Vader? At what point did he find Luke (and Leia?), and how does Vader deal with raising the kid(s) while still handling his career and Palpatine all at once? How would his health issues hamper his relationship with his child — after all, he can't exactly hug Luke the way a normal dad would. I would love to see something that deals with those struggles, along with how Luke (and/or Leia) might change over time — do they acquire more of Anakin's traits? Is any part of them changed for the better? What is their relationship with their father like?

Padmé is Mon Mothma: I feel like Vader would go ballistic if he found out Padmé had been living all this time and had kept his children from him. How would Luke's relationship with his father have changed if he was under her mother's guidance all her life, rather than a farm boy on Tatooine? Or, worse, would Vader have the wrong idea and in truth, Luke would have grown up as that farm boy and had no idea of her heritage. How might he react to finding out the rebel leader he looked toward was his mother — would it make him more or less likely to accept Vader as his father? What strain might this place on this relationship?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: If Vader is female, how does Vader's relationship with his son change? Is Luke more sympathetic to Vader should he be his mother rather than his father, or is their relationship the same as canon?

Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature: I would love to see Luke discover that Padmé is alive, if ...changed, and somehow Vader and Luke would deal with this discovery at the same time. How would they deal with this situation? Would they fight together against his mother/his wife? Or would they disagree? Would it be an opportunity to bond, or only split them further?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see how these two might have come to actually come together at some point. Perhaps Luke fails to rescue Leia from Jabba, and Vader becomes their rather unusual savior? Perhaps Vader is captured by the Rebel alliance and Luke feels a pang for her enemy that leads to them discovering their relationship? I would love to see anything wherein the two are interacting where things took a small turn the other direction and fate just tumbled down a whole different path.

Group: Leia Organa& or /Luke Skywalker (SWOT)

I've always been in love with how these two interact, as friends as well as lovers. In the gen version, I would love to see how their relationship changes when you change one of the threads that brought them together. There are so many points where fate could have turned out far different, where they might not have been able to work together, where they might not have formed such a strong bond in the same way. I would love to see a slice of an alternative universe where Luke is Dark or Leia is dark or they grow up with one or both of their parents, or they both grew up in entirely different circumstances and find it hard to relate. I also love seeing anything that explores the heaviness of their bloodline and what happens when they try to cope with that.

I've also always loved them as a couple and I was sad when I first saw ROTJ and got jossed, hard. But I also love them as siblings and I'd love to see something that explores how messed up their relationship can be — whether it's them being co-dependent saviors of the galaxy who just happen to have the same birthday and gee that's weird but let's not think about that too closely or if they know they are, in fact, full-blown incestuous. I would love to see what would happen if fate were twisted in a million different ways - would they still be besties/lovers despite a variety of changes? Would Leia forgive a Luke who fell to darkness, or could Luke come to love a Leia who had been raised by Vader? I'd love to see how their relationship changes.

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Main character goes back in time to the body of their younger self and changes what happened: I
'd love to see one of the twins have inherited Anakin's precognition powers and yet be unable to save themselves from the unhappy fates they both incur in the ST. Once one of the twins recognizes they have this power, how do they figure out they can alter the past? Does the other approve or disprove? I would love to see Leia go back to ANH and re-do the entire OT to try to correct the past mistakes — how would she treat Luke when she is (mentally) so much older than him? Would she tell him what had happened? Would he believe her? How would they deal with their father? Or vice versa - what happens if Luke is the one to do it? Would they find themselves in a relationship with their sibling out of sheer lovesickness?

Character is haunted
Ghost trying to help the living
Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead
: I would love to see Luke haunting the hell out of Leia as a way of atoning for abandoning her for so long. Would she find this comforting? Alienating? What if Luke didn't realize he died, and is acting as he is still coming back to her someday? How does Leia handle this? If the two are romantically linked, how does having your incestuous brother in your mind feel - is it heaven or is it hell? Or both?

Dark Empress Padmé: How would the twin’s relationship change if their mother were empress? Would they be denied of peers, thanks to being second and third in line for the throne? Would they wind up marrying one another in order to preserve the "glory" of the Empire, targaryen-style? Would a Luke and Leia who were hidden from their parents fear the Empire much more, knowing what dark secrets lurked at its heart?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I'd really love to see a viewpoint on Luke and Leia if they grew up with the Partisans or in the early Rebellion. Would the knowledge that they could die any day make them grow up with the idea that life is something precious, or would it go the other way, where they feel life is cheap thanks to seeing so much death they are desensitized? How would their characters change for growing up effectively in a war-zone? How might their relationship be changed? Do either of the children actually rebel by leaning imperial? What is their relationship with their mother like?

Darth Vader Knows Leia Is His Daughter But Not That Luke is His Son:
I would love to see how this changes their relationship between Empire and ROTJ. Luke in canon is harboring such a big secret; would Leia be freer with telling Luke about her parentage? How would it change their relationship? Would it lead to them becoming closer? And since they have no reason to think they're related, and Han is out of the picture (either at Jabba's or dead), would they wind up seeking comfort in one another?

Darth Vader survives ROTJ: How would the twins deal with their suddenly redeemed father coming into their lives? I would feel like this would be a big wedge issue between the two, with Luke wanting a relationship with Anakin, while Leia would have no desire to. How would Leia feel about Luke's relationship with Anakin? Would she be frustrated, or perhaps jealous? Would they be able to bridge that divide, or would this lead to a permanent cooling off in their relationship? How might Vader deal with the knowledge that they're involved with one another, if you want to go full incest?

Leia Organa is raised by Darth Vader: How would a Luke who was raised on Tatooine find a Leia Skywalker/Vader, imperial senator? Would they still wind up falling into one another's orbits with Leia gradually rebelling away from their father? Or would they remain enemies until the last, just one more part of the imperial/rebel hegemony to eliminate?

Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side: I have always seen Luke's strife being central to his own compassion; if anyone knows that the road to hell is laced with good intentions, its Luke. How does Luke fall? Does he try to tempt Leia to fall into darkness with him? Does she fall?

Luke Skywalker is raised by Darth Vader:
How would Luke have turned out if he'd been raised by Vader? At what point did he find Luke (and Leia?), and how does Vader deal with raising the kid(s) while still handling his career and Palpatine all at once? How would his health issues hamper his relationship with his child — after all, he can't exactly hug Luke the way a normal dad would. I would love to see something that deals with those struggles, along with how Luke (and/or Leia) might change over time — do they acquire more of Anakin's traits? Is any part of them changed for the better? What is their relationship with their father like? What is their relationship with one another like? Are they closer than ever, having grown up together (perhaps too much so?) or are they itching to break free of the yolk of one another?

Padmé is Mon Mothma:
I would love to see the twin's reaction to finding out the rebel leader they have been taking orders from is, somehow, secretly their mother. Would they feel betrayed, raised by other families with Padmé tried to focus on the fight? Would they feel released to have one parental unit that wasn't evil? Would this change their relationship with one another?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: Would Luke and Leia's relationship with one another change if Vader was their mother? Presumably Lady Vader would be looking for them longer (assuming she is the pregnant partner) — would Lady Vader discover the children younger? Would the twins view her differently?

Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature: How would the twins deal with a long-dead mother suddenly come back to life, if horribly altered? Especially as the wound of Vader, half-machine and half-man, all twisted, is still raw in their minds and their hearts — what would they do with a monstrous Padmé? Would they try to keep her safe, or put her out of her misery, or something in-between? Would they even agree with what needed to be done?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what might have happened in ROTJ had Luke and Leia not been able to rescue Han; perhaps they're unable to locate him, or unable to access Jabba's, or w/e, — but how does this change the relationship between the twins? Does Luke go back to Yoda earlier? Does Leia accompany him? Do they simply continue to fight for the Rebellion? Would they perhaps never know of their relationship, should Luke never go back to Dagobah? If so, would he ever tell Leia about Vader — and how might that change their relationship?

Group: Padmé Amidala & Leia Organa &/or Luke Skywalker (SWOT)

I'd love to see something where Padmé has to interact with her children. Whether as a ghost or as a living, breathing fighter; there are so many different histories for her we could have gotten, from dark empress to ghost to partisan to rebel to gothic horror, and I want to see them all. I'd love to see how the twins cope with their mother, whether they know her as their mother or some shadow figure. I'd love to see what happens when Padmé can't be near her children, for whatever reason, and has to watch them from afar, or what happens when she sees what happened to the children she raised — or anything in-between. Note: I'm combining their sections as I want similar prompts for both, but I would be happy for them to be combined or simply one or the two twins with their mother. I'm just hungry for more of them interacting. :)

Character is haunted
Ghost trying to help the living

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead:  I would love to see Padmé interacting with the twins somehow while they are adults, and how confusing this might be for either (both?) of the twins. They're robbed of their parental units, so neither of them exactly can go to anyone with ghosts — well, Luke could go to Vader, perhaps? Who would certainly be able to identify her? Would the twins be able to recognize her, somehow? If only Luke and or Leia can see her, do they find her a comforting presence or are they scared of her? Are they spooked by their memories when they realize that she is a ghost they are both haunted by despite not having a relationship to one another?  I would also love to see Padmé somehow manifest in the force in away to help Luke and/or Leia out. I would love to see fic of Padmé not knowing she is dead if this fic is from Padmé's POV; what does she in her own way think of the children who are growing into strangers before her very eyes? Her children being used as weapons against her husband? Her children fighting for freedom? Go full angst and pride and make me cry.

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see a fic where Padmé keeps one of the twins (or both) and has to live with the pain that this could bring. I can't imagine Anakin would ever stop looking for her, so would she constantly have to be moving her child(ren), leading to them becoming adults who have moved every few years to another star system? How might she might have changed the twins fates, how her intercession may have made their lives better - or worse - if she had lived?

Character A Changes The Past Only to Regret the Future
Character has precognition and limited time travel abilities
Main character goes back in time to the body of their younger self and changes what happened:
I would love to see what might have happened had one of the adult twins time travelled into the past to try to prevent the fall of the Republic. If they changed  Padmé's past, given her more of a future than she has in canon, what happens? Do (either of) the twins time travel to try to keep the republic from falling? How do they get to her? How does she react when she learns why she has, briefly, become the most important person in the galaxy? Does their time-traveling have repercussions? Are there things about their mother that they might not have expected? What might they regret about changing the past? Does the other twin ever find out they have erased their entire lives, and if so, how do they react?

Dark Empress Padmé:  I love dark empress Padmé and would love to see how growing up with your mom being an (uncomfortable or hesitant?) empress. Or has Obi-Wan taken the children when they were young, and they are now grow up, now believing that their parents are monsters that they're fighting against? Either way, I would love to see Leia or Luke coming to terms with their mother’s legacy, for good or ill. I would also love to see Padmé's view of the children as they become their own adults — does she have regrets? Is she proud?

Padmé Amidala is a Partisan
Padmé lives and founds the Rebellion:
I'd really love to see a bit of a world in which Luke and/or Leia growing up with the partisans or the rebellion. Would Padmé even be able to be with her children, or would they be raised by others who could guarantee their safety? Would she regret raising them or seeing them raised as foot soldiers for an army? How might their relationship be changed? Do either of the children wind up rebelling against her views by imperial?

Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature
: How would the twins deal with a long-dead mother suddenly come back to life, if horribly altered? Especially as the wound of Vader, half-machine and half-man, all twisted, is still raw in their minds and their hearts — what would they do with a monstrous Padmé? Would they try to keep her safe, or put her out of her misery, or something in-between? Would they even agree with what needed to be done?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader
:  I would love to see what might happen in a world where Anakin is the mother of the children, either in a same-sex relationship with Padmé or with Padmé being an absentee father. How might her relationship with the twins change if she is the non birthing parent? How might the twins view their parents differently?

Darth Vader Knows Leia Is His Daughter But Not That Luke is His Son:
How would Padmé react if she found out that Vader found out where one of their adult children was? Would she be able to keep Leia safe? Would she cling to Luke, knowing that it is too far gone for Leia? How might this change their relationships with one another?

Darth Vader survives ROTJ: What might happen if Vader is redeemed? How might the twin’s relationship with their mother change - whether in terms of viewing her legacy if she remains dead, or if she is still alive in a Padmé lives! Au?

Leia Organa is raised by Darth Vader
Luke Skywalker is raised by Darth Vader:
How would Padmé react if she found out that Vader had managed to find one of their children and was raising them (or, worse, both of them)? Would she try to rescue them, even if she had to wait until they were adults to get access? Would she cling to one of the remaining children, knowing that it is too far gone for the other? How might she deal with the child who was raised by Anakin/Vader?

Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side: How would Padmé feel about her son if he wound up following his father's path a little too closely? What would she do? Would she be able to lead him back?

Padmé is Mon Mothma:
I would love to see the twin's reaction to finding out the rebel leader they have been taking orders from is, somehow, secretly their mother. Would they feel betrayed, raised by other families with Padmé tried to focus on the fight? Would they feel relieved to have one parental unit that wasn't evil? Would this change their relationship with one another?

Group: Padmé Amidala/Darth Vader | Anakin Skywalker (SWOT)

This is by far my favorite version of Anakin and Padmé and I would love to explore any of the futures we didn't get for them. I'd love to see some version of their future, whether it's her haunting his ass, her living on to fight another day, or somewhere in-between. I don't mind if they're together, kind-of-together-but-it's-complicated, or completely apart and hating one another and missing what one another once was - I just want more than what we got in canon. Whatever future it is, I'm there for it.

If he did, would he be able to change enough that they would stay together, or would be constantly be seeing her at a distance? What would it be like to be in his younger body again? I'd love to see the differences for Anakin, who spent so long getting used to a machine body only to have to once again adjust to his flesh and blood body. I'd love to see something focusing on his precognition powers, too — is he able to finally use them to actually save people from dying, as he always dreamed? And was this really a good idea, or are there unforeseen consequences?

Character is haunted
Ghost trying to help the living
Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead:
I absolutely adore the idea of Anakin getting absolutely haunted by Padmé. He is so grief-worn by the end of ROTS, I would love to see what happens when just a shadow of her appears to him in the OT.  I love her haunting a Darth Vader who did everything in his power to save her, and now he's being visibly shown it wasn't enough. Give me sadness and angst and messed up relationship dynamics and let me absolutely revel in it. The sadder the better; want to make it so she just holds her throat whenever he sees her? Great. Her reaching out for him constantly in mirrored surfaces, him being mad he can never reach her hand? Go for it. Give me something horrifically sad and let me revel in it. Is he thankful to have even this little bit of her? Is it just more proof he is cursed?

Does he tell Leia? How does Padmé react to this, if she's still alive — or what does her ghost think, if she is dead? Does Vader e watch her speeches, follow her in the rebellion with a dizzying amount of spies? If so, what does he learn? How does Padmé save her daughter from him? Is she thankful that he hasn't found Luke, or is she sad seeing Anakin want, so desperately, to be the father she wanted him to be?

Darth Vader survives ROTJ: What might happen if Vader is redeemed? Would they wind up getting back together? Would they still remain divorced, but perhaps still be not entirely able to quit one another? What is their sex life like if they wind up hooking up post-Vader in a Padmé lives!

Would she wind up getting back with Anakin/Vader just to try to influence their child?

Luke Skywalker falls to the dark side: How would Padmé feel about her son if he wound up following his father's path a little too closely? What would she do? Would she be able to lead him back? Would seeing the son fall see how she feels about the father? What if Anakin never fell but Luke did - how would that affect Anakin/Padmé's relationship?

Padmé is Mon Mothma:
I love this old crack theory that was floating around in the old prequel days. What if it were true, and Padmé faked her death, later replacing the real Mon Mothma as the leader of the Rebel Alliance when Mothma is killed? Would Anakin/Vader ever figure it out? Would they have a sort of tentative tet-a-tet if he did, or would he decide that it didn't matter, that she had to die just like the other Rebels? Would she tell him about the kids? How would he take this news? Would they wind up actually getting back together from time to time, if only because it is hard to quit one another?

Rule 63! Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader: : I'd really love to see how their relationship might change had their roles been reversed (male Padmé/female Anakin) or had they been in a same-sex relationship. If you swap sexes entirely/ through particularly space magic that makes Anakin pregnant: how does Anakin's pregnancy change their relationship — especially if Anakin still goes full Vader and has the children carved out of her on Mustafar? Would Padmé stay with her, or would she cut her losses and run?

Padmé comes back from the dead as an eldritch creature: I would love to see Vader find Padmé again after all these years as a sort of eldritch creature. How does he deal with this? Does he kill her, thinking that this is what she would likely have wanted? Does he accept that she, too, is an amalgamation of man and monster and keep her by his side, figuring a mad abomination of his wife is still his wife? How would he handle her powers?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see basically any part of the OT in a Padmé lives AU. What would happen if it was Padmé he followed from Scarif, not Leia? What would happen if Anakin/Vader had found Padmé during one of his visits to an imperial prison?? I'm willing to see pretty much any scenario for him, whether it was bad or good.

Group: Lando Calrissian/Han Solo (SWOT)

I love Lando/Han, especially with the dynamic that we see in ESB. I love that they're kind of frenemies; not exactly trusting one another, but also knowing that they're better for one another than the alternative. I'd love to see them stuck in a situation beyond their control, where they kind of have to trust one another but also THEY HAVE TO SOMEHOW TRUST ONE ANOTHER and it turns out its really hard for two smugglers to do that. Also, love and any all heist plots, especially if Han comes up with a stupid plan and Lando, somehow, has to work with it. Would also love to see Han's reaction to finding out Lando does literally all erotica narration - whether or not  Lando tries to get him in on the "job" or if Han is just...pleasantly surprised.

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist
: I always appreciate the dynamic between these two because I think they tend to make different bets; Lando isn't quite as into moral stands as Han is in general and isn't quite so much willing to back bad bets. So. Who comes up with the crazy idea? What kind of squad do they acquire? What's the target? I'd love to see these guys have a smuggler squad that can punch through an imperial strong point and walk out with important info or valuable equipment.

Sex pollen: Neither of these two would trust one another as far as they could throw one another, and I'd love to see what might happen if they get exposed to sex pollen. Whose fault is it? Who gives into fucking one another's brains out first? Is it a one and done event, or do these two wind up getting "accidently" exposed every so often?

Stranded on a Desert Island: These two don't trust one another at all. I'd love to see what might happen when a con turns bad and they have to hide out from some gangster’s thugs. Being Lando, I imagine that he would want to hide out in an idyllic five star retreat level desert island, but I can see Han wanting to hide out in somewhere less conspicuous. How do they figure out where to go? What is life like on a desert island? Do either of them try to betray one another? Is it romantic at all, or do they just fight the whole time?

Lando is the narrator of all erotic audio books
: I have wanted this ever since I saw it. Given that Lando narrates his own adventures in Solo, we know he has a smooth voice that could easily lend itself to a porn graphic career. I'd love to see how Han discovers this... Does he listen to some erotica only to find himself frustratingly attracted to Lando's voice? Is he secretly Lando's biggest fan and if so how does Lando find out? Does Lando find this lucrative and try to get Han in on the job?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what happens to these two if things don't go well for the rebellion in ROTJ. Perhaps Luke falls, or Leia does; perhaps both twins are killed and Vader/the Emperor and the Empire stand triumphant. How do these two smugglers survive on the run? How do they become closer in the bleaker of circumstances?

Group: Lando Calrissian/Leia Organa (SWOT)

Leia isn't as savvy as Han when it comes to frenemies, but she is absolutely not trusting Lando and is a character who in general has a hard time revealing her own vulnerability. I would love to see something with her having to trust Lando, who she does not perhaps know all that well, and having a really hard time dealing with that. I would also love to see any and all heists, or Lando trying to bring her into a con/narrating erotic audio books. Or Leia stumbling on Lando's "narrations" and being...pleasantly surprised, or Lando trying to get her in on a con to do it (or something else!) to raise money for the Rebellion/Resistance/etc.

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist:
I would love to see Lando come up with an elaborate heist and try to bring Leia in on it. I imagine her time in the rebellion would give her a lot of useful scoundrel/fighting skills, not to mention the power of the force on her side. What would her role be in the con? How would he get her to work the role? What would she do with her cut of the prize?

Sex pollen: Sometime between ESB and ROTJ I would love to see these two somehow exposed to sex pollen. How long does I take them to give in? If it's their first time, do each of them feel about Han in regards to it? If it's not their first time, does the sex pollen change how they act or how sex feels?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I can't imagine Leia would be anything but frustrated about being sick on a desert island. If she and Lando crash on their way to another planet, how would they deal with this situation? I would especially love to see this set soon after ESB where both of them are raw from losing at Bespin and neither really knows the other will enough to trust them.

Lando is the narrator of all erotic audio books: I have wanted this ever since I saw it. Given that Lando narrates his own adventures in Solo, we know he has a smooth voice that could easily lend itself to a pornographic career. I'd love to see how Leia discovers this... Tidbit about her friend. Does she listen to some erotica only to find himself frustratingly attracted to Lando's voice? Does she recognize that the narrator is Lando? Is she secretly Lando's biggest fan and if so how does Lando find out? What is his reaction?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what happens to these two if things don't go well for the rebellion in ROTJ. Perhaps Luke falls, or Han dies; perhaps both Han and Luke are killed and Vader/the Emperor and the Empire stand triumphant at Endor. How do these two smugglers survive on the run? How do they become closer in the bleaker of circumstances? I would love to see Lando using his scoundrel tricks to keep the rebellion/resistance on the run and Leia keeping hope alive in a very bleak universe.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy

Group: Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (SWST)

I've always wondered what would happen had Darth Vader made it to the sequel trilogy and get to meet his grandson. There are so many ways that this might go, but I've love to see something dealing on the emotions of such a meeting: Ben's star-eyes either being validated or crushed by grandpa, or grandpa being...well, really, really confused/uncomfortable about his legacy. I'd love to see them set apart (and I'll laugh forever if, somehow, Kylo murders Grandpa without actually intending to) but I'd also love to see Kylo have one family member who understands him better than anyone else. Redeemed Anakin or Vader who literally wandered here from Bespin or Vader who wound up in Ben's body and is v. confused about this — all are good!

Bodyswap: I would love to see Kylo Ren get his wish to know his grandfather's life in the most visceral way possible: I want him and Anakin/Vader to switch bodies. How this happens can be handwaivium- some explosion wrecking the space/time continuum? A wrong-headed wish being taken by the force far too literally? Mistaken Sith tradition not followed closely enough? It doesn't matter. What does matter is Ben wakes up in a half-human, ninety-nine percent pain body as her grandfather, and has to try to Be Darth Vader even though he is absolutely horrible at figuring out what that was, holding to little more than shreds of legends. (And endless bonuses if Ben, like Vader, winds up in a situation with his mother and uncle in the past.) Meanwhile, I'd love to see Darth Vader suddenly wake up in this young body that is making all the mistakes he is — and to his horror seeing how much can change, without, in fact, changing very much. I'd love to see him contacting Luke and/or Leia (perhaps he doesn't even realize he has switched timelines?) and seeing what happens to them next - does this open Ben and Vader's eyes to one another? Are they changed when they flip back to their rightful bodies?

Darth Vader time travels to the ST: I would love to see these two meeting up during some kind of handwaivium way - what do they think of one another? Is Vader what Ben always hoped for, and if so, what exactly was he looking for when he glommed onto this Vader thing? It's always been a bit hard for me to picture because I do think Vader would be very interested in meeting his grandchild, but I've never quite been able to imagine if they would get along great or if Ben would convince him for good that everything he wanted for Luke was wrong. (Or both!) What sort of consequences are there for Vader being in the ST? I'd also love to see Vader's feelings about the fact he doesn't live past ROTJ; does he get the Wrong Idea about what happened with Luke? Does he feel his fate is inevitable? A million stars and twenty years from what he knows, does Darth Vader throw a pity party? Does Ben Solo/Kylo Ren have a rude awakening over his grandfather's legend, or is he continually impressed by the man?

Darth Vader time travels to the ST and Kylo Ren accidently murders him: I just ...I just want to see what the fallout of this would be. How would Ben handle this - to know he's literally killed two generations of Skywalkers and a Solo? Would Anakin forgive him for this? Would he feel mortified over murdering his granddad? How would he ever absolve himself of this sin?

General Leia Organa time travels back to the Tantive IV at the start of ANH: I would love to see how this might work. Would Leia change the past so that Vader lived past ROTJ? (And boy, wouldn't she hate doing so, so I got to wonder why.) How would Ben and Vader's relationship be changed by her doing this? Would they would be close? Would Leia let her son train with him instead of Luke — and would this have really worked out any better?

Canon Divergence AU: I'd love to see a slice of what might have happened in regard to Vader and Ben's relationship had Vader lived past ROTJ. Would they ever meet? Would Ben pity his grandfather? Would Anakin be able to save Ben at all from himself?

Group: Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader & Leia Organa (SWST) &/or Luke Skywalker (SWST)

Anakin/Vader & Leia and/or Luke: There are few things I find more criminally underused than explorations of Vader/Anakin's relationship with his children post-ROTJ. So much of their lives are shaped, for better or worse (99% worse) by his destiny, and yet his death in ROTJ means we don't get a lot of opportunities to explore what happened to the Skywalker children in regards to their father — how much does Leia blame him for Ben? How much does Luke? Does a Vader who lives past ROTJ even have a place or a relationship with his child(ren)? What if Vader is transported in time toward them — or Leia is thrown backwards in time toward him, knowing what she knows? What happens to them? I'm open to happy endings or bad ones, but I just want to know what happens between Anakin and his children if they're thrown together when Ben's fall changes the dynamic between them entirely.

Note: I've combined Luke and Leia sections here because what I want is similar: explorations on what their relationship might be like, so many years past the discovery of their relationship to one another. Whether you use Anakin/Vader with one Luke, Leia, or both — all is good to me!

Bodyswap:
I would love to see Vader and one of his children get bodyswapped through time. Like with Ben, how this happens - it doesn’t matter. How this happens can be handwaivium- some explosion wrecking the space/time continuum? A wrong-headed wish being taken by the force far too literally? Mistaken Sith tradition not followed closely enough? Whatsoever it is, I would love to see General Leia or Hermit Luke open their eyes to find themselves in another viewpoint — a long dead one, from their viewpoint. And meanwhile Darth Vader wakes up next to a bunch of porgs, or with an entire Rebellion under his command. How do they handle this situation? Are they able to communicate at all? Do they learn anything new about one another from this experience? What does the twin who isn't currently inhabiting biodad's body thinking about when their long-incommunicado twin's presence suddenly flares up in the force, but massively different to what they imagined?

Darth Vader time travels to the ST: I would love to see how either of the twins would handle this. Where would he wind up traveling to, and how would he get there? Would Luke get involved? Would Leia? Would he wind up with the resistance or the First Order? What would this strange new world look like to him? Would he be able to help either Kylo/Leia/Luke/Rey with what is going on in the world around them?

Darth Vader time travels to the ST and Kylo Ren accidently murders him: I just want to know how this happens, and whichever of the viewpoint twin's reactions to this. What do they do? Are they vaguely relieved? Sad? Frustrated? Just give me that sweet, sweet crackfic.

General Leia Organa time travels back to the Tantive IV at the start of ANH: I would love to see a snippet of this story: why does Leia go back in time? Does she bring Vader back forward, toward the ST? How can she handle that, given their relationship in canon? How does Vader take Leia storming back toward him and being like, "Hi, I'm your daughter, and we're gonna plot a revolution." If you'd rather write Luke, what does Luke think about this plan? Does he encourage it, or tell Leia to leave it alone? Does he remember the other future after Leia + Vader change it, and if so, does he confront her about it? How does this all shake out, twenty years down the line if they're successful? What happens if they're not?

Canon Divergence AU: I'd love to see a slice of what might have happened in regard to Vader and the twin’s relationship had Vader lived past ROTJ. How would they handle him — would he be put on trial and be serving a prison sentence? Would he be in exile on some planet or another? Would he just be another scrapper/Jedi/etc. Would Leia ever let Ben meet Vader? Would Ben's relationship with Anakin change? Would Anakin fight Luke on re-creating the Jedi order, or would he help him build it? What might their relationships be like post-Ben's fall?

Rey (SWST)

Rey: Rey's past on Jakku is so unknown and I'd love to see her interacting with characters that she would never get the chance to meet normally. I'd love to see some sort of examination of her as part of the Skywalker legacy as more than Kylo's plus one (though Kylo is always welcome, too, the more the merrier with Skywalkers for me) - especially when it comes to Anakin or Palpatine. I'd also love to see some world building on how force ghosts work: do they know they're dead? Are there limits to what they can do? Do they mean to appear or is it just something that happens?

In terms of ship, I am open to Rey with pretty much anyone except Hux. Finn/Rey, Poe/Rey, Kylo/Rey, Jessica/Rey, Rose/Rey, Luke/Rey, Leia/Rey, all amazing. Bring it.

Ghost Who Doesn't Realize They are Dead:  I would love to see Rey being raised by a (force?) ghost who doesn't quite realize they're dead. The sands are harsh after all, and have claimed many victims. What is the world building on Jakku on ghosts? What kind of haunting might Rey experience? Would the desert spirits tell her how to survive in such a harsh climate? On the other hand, what about the force ghosts we know, who might feel pulled to such a creature. Does Anakin watch over her, thinking of her like a daughter he never knew? Does Palpatine spend his time planning on re-taking his throne, once he gets his newest apprentice trained up?

Rey is Palpatine's granddaughter: I would love to see what Palpatine might feel for his granddaughter; is he scheming in the desert what he will do with her? Is he frustrated that she is Force Sensitive but doesn't seem able to communicate it? Does he see her in his visions and feel malevolent confusion over seeing his grandchild scrambling through dirt while Anakin/Vader's grandson is in command?

Rey is the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker: This is such a strange but v. mythical idea and I'd love to see this played straight for once. How might Rey discover this past life? How might everyone around her react to it? Would the memories of this past life help her, or would they just be burdensome?

Rey trained by Force ghost Anakin: I would love to have seen Anakin helping Luke in training Rey, or perhaps taking over when Luke refuses. Or even just Anakin encouraging Rey to stick with Luke and not give up on him training her? I feel like Anakin's force-life would be frustrated by Luke's choices to isolate himself from family/friends and would, perhaps, not be subtle about training Rey with all the "cool tricks" that one couldn't learn from a Jedi (especially as all the other force ghosts in the background are like, oh no).

Group: Finn/Rey (SWST)

I always love to see these two in dark situations and would love to see where things might find them at the end of the galaxy. How do they survive in bleak odds? What if they'd never joined the Resistance? How does Rey's development of force powers impact their romance? What if they met in the FO?

Bad Future: I would love to see how these two might cope with the Rebellion/Resistance running out of gas. What if they're the last two left, after the First Order has demolished the rest of them? How do they handle this? What sort of life might they be living together? Are they able to find any happiness in one another?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see these two stealing something from the FO for the Rebellion/Resistance. What is it? how do they get it? who else is in their crew? How does the heist go?

Rey leaves with Finn on Takodana before they run into Kylo Ren or the Resistance
Finn's shuttle leaves Takodana before Starkiller Base fires:
Finn takes DJ's advice and doesn't join: I would love to see what might have happened had these two narrowly avoided two calls from destiny. What would have happened had Rey and Finn left before encountering Kylo Ren - would he have come with her to find Luke, and if so, what would he have thought of Luke? Would he help in Rey's Jedi training at all? Would there be so hurried a worry for them to come back if Finn had come with her? If Finn's shuttle had taken off, would he have eventually come back Rey? What if Finn took DJ's advice — how would Rey feel when she didn't find him back with the rebellion? What kind of regrets might they have had if they took this road? Would they still stay together? Would it change anything about how they become the Jedi/Soldier we see in TLJ?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror:
I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. I'd love to see something from Finn's perspective about the Jedi he encounters - is there something about the Jedi that she finds otherworldly? How does it feel to love someone dangerously close to feeling like a monster? Are the Force-sensitive always otherworldly, or do they become more so as they fall deeper into the force?

Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku:
I would love to see how this would change her background? Would she and Finn bond over being in the FO? Or Would Rey have been raised in a different Imperial-cult? What would their first meeting be like? I'd really love any slice of what their lives together might have been had Rae found Rey at a young age.

Group: Finn/Rose Tico (SWST)

I really would love to see something where Finn and Rose meet in non-Resistance settings. How did Rose Leave? How did these two come to meet one another -- and does the tone of their romance change?

Bad Future: I would love to see how these two might cope with the Rebellion/Resistance running out of gas. What if they're the last two left, after the First Order has demolished the rest of them? How do they handle this? What sort of life might they be living together? Are they able to find any happiness in one another? Do they continue to resist, or do they lie low?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see an alternate take on TLJ where they have to scam the master code breaker in an Ocean’s Eleven-esque heist in order to get him to work with them. How do they do this? Is DJ a recruit who works with them? Do they discover some unknown scoundrel talents? Do they flirt with one another shamelessly?

Rey leaves with Finn on Takodana before they run into Kylo Ren or the Resistance
Finn's shuttle leaves Takodana before Starkiller Base fires
Finn takes DJ's advice and doesn't join:
I would love to see how each of these events might have changed the relationship between Finn and Rose. How would they meet? What kind of regrets might they have had if they took this road? Would they still stay together? Would it change anything about how they become the soldiers we see in TLJ?  How would each of these choices change Finn? Would Rose fall in love with him anyway if he was a jaded smuggler, or had just come back from training with Rey and Luke, or if he and DJ had out-voted her about rejoining the Resistance? How would any of these choices affect who Finn and Rose go into?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror: I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. I'd love to see something from Finn or Rose's perspective, as normal people, about the Jedi and other force-sensitive’s that they encounter - is there something about the Jedi that they otherworldly? What kind of experiences have they had? Are the Force-sensitive always otherworldly, or do they become more so as they fall deeper into the force? What is it like to be a normal person caught in a war between these hugely powerful force sensitives?

Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku: I would love to know how Finn might have changed had Rey been on the other side, with the FO? Would it lead to Finn being more willing to commit to the Resistance, or commit earlier? How would it change his interactions with Rose? Would they still fall in love with one another?

Group: DJ/Finn/Rose Tico (SWST)

I'm fascinated by what might have happened if DJ had changed Finn's mind about the Resistance. I can't see Rose being happy about it at first, but if they never got back to the Resistance, what might have happened in TLJ? Where might these three have gone?

Bad Future: I would love to see a bad future where the Resistance is destroyed before Finn, Rose, and DJ manage to get back and DJ doesn't get a chance to actually screw over Finn and Rose. Now this would-be rogue is stuck with these two Dudley Dorights, who have nothing to be good for. What happens to them? Where do they go? What do they do? Do they ever quite come to understand one another, and, if so, how do they fall in love?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist
: I would love to see an alternate take on TLJ where they have to scam the master code breaker in an Ocean’s Eleven-esque heist in order to get him to work with them.

Finn takes DJ's advice and doesn't join
: I really would just love to see a bit of a character study on how this might change Finn and Rose's relationship, first meeting, and even their attitudes toward DJ. Would a Finn who spend a year on a shuttle with space cargo transporters be as into the "Honor of the Rebellion" mythos as Rose is? Would a Finn jaded enough to take DJ's advice still have his heart open enough to bond with Rose? Would a Finn who spent months with Rey even meet her? and how would their relationship changes, in turn, impact their relationship with DJ? I would love to see an alternative universe where these three still wind up together, but in a wildly different scenario. How would they come to love one another? Would their relationship be happier or less conflicted than what we saw in canon — or perhaps even more contentious?

The Force is an Eldritch Horror: I really love the subtle horror that the Force-Sensitive just seem to bring. I'd love to see something from Finn, DJ or Rose's perspective, as normal people, about the Jedi and other force-sensitives that they encounter - is there something about the Jedi that they otherworldly? What kind of experiences have they had? Are the Force-sensitive always otherworldly, or do they become more so as they fall deeper into the force? What is it like to be a normal person caught in a war between these hugely powerful force sensitives? How might these three, if they decided not to go back to the alliance, have decided to in part due to the force changing the world around them?

Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku: I would love to know how Finn might have changed had Rey been on the other side, with the FO? Would it lead to Finn being more willing to commit to the Resistance, or commit earlier? How would it change his interactions with DJ and Rose? Would they still fall in love with one another?

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

Group: Darth Maul/Qi'ra (Solo)

Boy, Maul and Qi'ra's interactions in this may have been small, but they left a big impression on me. I need an AU (and I can only hope eventual canon) wherein Qi'ra is Maul's apprentice, and the two have the Sith equivalent of a romance which I assume is mostly making out/sex in the blood of one's enemies with kinky lightning moves. I'd love to see fic that focuses on the lessons Qi'ra learns; does she ever try to take out Maul, similar to Dryden? Or is she content to bide her time? What does Maul see in Qi'ra?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see how Qi'ra might handle a heist freed of Dryden Vos' clumsy hand on her shoulder. Would Maul give her more room, or dictate the terms to her? Would he make sure she didn't choose anyone who might threaten him? How might he "punish" her if she gets out of line? Does she eventually pull one over on him? Is he, in fact, the target?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would love to see what might happen if Qi'ra and Maul got stranded somewhere. Would they turn on one another, as Sith so often do? Or would they stick together, bonding against the fury of nature?

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: Yes, please. I would love to see Force-Sensitive Qi'ra, trying to learn how to be a Sith from Maul. I would love to see any lesson, especially one that might involve sex — would Qi'ra dub-con Maul into it in an attempt on gaining power? Would he use it to help teach her some of the lessons of the Sith? What might their relationship be like?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor: Would Val have seen Qi'ra's true colors and played against her better? How might that have changed the relationship between Qi'ra and Maul - would Val survive where Beckett didn't? Would they be competing for Maul's favor or would Maul eliminate Val in order to get rid of distractions for Qi'ra?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what might have happened had Qi'ra joined Maul in Rebels. Would he have lived to fight another day? What might their relationship have looked like at that point?

Lando Calrissian (Solo)

Lando Calrissian: Lando is such a smooth customer and I can't help but wonder what this cool cucumber does when he gets ruffled. What sort of heists/cons does Lando work that makes him so famous? How did he meet up with L3? What might he do if he wound up in a place all to himself? And perhaps most importantly, how did he ever fly the dang Falcon out of Savareen?

As far as ships, I ship Lando with Leia, Han, Qi'ra, L3, and Luke, in no particular order of preference.

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see Lando organizing an epic heist. Who does he choose to form his team? What sort of bounty are they after? Do they succeed? What is Lando's role?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would love to see how Lando got to the jungle planet we see him and Han playing Sabaac on at the very end of the movie. How did he get here? How did other people find him here? Why did he come here? And perhaps most importantly, what does he do once Han absconds with the phantom, and he is left alone there?

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: I feel like Lando and Qi'ra were definitively a thing in the past, but unlike Han, Lando sensed she was a bit of a bad thing and didn't stay with her. I'd love to see what might happen if he found out she was a Sith apprentice - how would he feel about it? Would he tell Han about it? Would he feel disturbed by it? Or would he find a con to run with it?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor: I would love to see how Val and Lando might get along. Lando seems to have a weakness for beautiful women, but I can't see the colder Val necessarily appreciating his talents. However, I do think Val is a bit sharper on people than Beckett, and she is a bit more merciless - how would she feel about taking on Lando? What sort of relationship would they have?

Canon Divergence AU: What would have happened to Lando had L3 not been killed in the Kessel uprising? Would he have still flown away on Savareen? Would she have encouraged him to join the rebellion? How might his life have changed had she lived?

Group: Lando Calrissian/Han Solo (Solo)

I love, love, love their Hate/Love relationship, their flirting being mixed with teasing and insults mixed with good-natured ribbing. I love anything and everything that works on the trust issues between them, on how they manage to navigate those issues and walk away with scores or on how they feel about swapping the Falcon back and forth? I'm also very interested in how their relationship grows between Solo and the OT.

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: I would love to see how these two might react to finding out that this has happened to Qi'ra. Would Han want to save her? Would Lando? Would they ever be able to work with her again?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor: How might having Val along instead of Beckett have changed the Heist? Would she have been less patient of Han and Lando's squabbling? Would she encourage them to get together? Would role might she play toward the end of the movie?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I always appreciate the dynamic between these two because I think they tend to make different bets; Lando isn't quite as into moral stands as Han is in general and isn't quite so much willing to back bad bets. So. Who comes up with the crazy idea? What kind of squad do they acquire? What's the target? I'd love to see these guys have a smuggler squad that can punch through an imperial strong point and walk out with important info or valuable equipment.

Canon Divergence AU:
I would love to see what happens to these two if things don't go well for the Rebellion on Kessel. Maybe they're the only ones who get out? How do they deal with the guilt of that?

 Group: Lando Calrissian/Qi'ra/Han Solo (Solo)

I would love these three to meet again. I love how Han is so uncomfortable with Lando and Qi’ra’s flirting, and would love to see something exploring the rather complicated trust-issues between the three of them and how they could possibly get together — either during the film, or, especially, after the film! One glorious heist that puts them together? A three way stand-off where they have to work together to get out of a bad situation?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I always appreciate the dynamic between these two because I think they tend to make different bets; Lando isn't quite as into moral stands as Han is in general and isn't quite so much willing to back bad bets and Qi'ra is just in it to survive. So. Who comes up with the crazy idea? What kind of squad do they acquire? What's the target? I'd love to see these guys have a smuggler squad that can punch through their enemies and walk out with important info or valuable equipment.

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would love to see what might have happened had these guys somehow wound up all stranded on the same island, post-Solo, and needing to work together to get off of it (while perhaps scheming that the other two shouldn't get off of it). How do they handle this? is there bad blood about what happened in Solo? Is sex used as a distraction/jealousy provider?

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: I would love to see how these two might react to finding out that this has happened to Qi'ra. Would Han want to save her? Would Lando? Would they ever be able to work with her again? Would Qi'ra want them to try to rescue her, or would she resent it? What might have changed about her as a Sith that they might find ....both good and bad?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor: How would Val take the attraction between these three if she had survived and Beckett didn't. Would she have occupied much the same role? would having a sniper on Kessel mean more of them made it out without problems? Would she encourage them to get together, as she seems a softy for love, or would she repeat Beckett's motto not to trust anyone?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what happens to these three if things don't go well for the Rebellion on Kessel. Maybe they're the only ones who get out? How do they deal with the guilt of that?

Group: Tobias Beckett/Val (Solo)

I absolutely adored this relationship and would have loved to have gotten more than one kiss and an acknowledgment of how these two older cons/hustlers found one another and fell in love. I've love to see something that lets them get to be alone for that valachord training session, or perhaps the alternative of what we got in canon - what if it's not Val that dies, but Beckett? And, of course, I'd love any one of their heists! I don't think I've ever met a heist I didn't love.

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see one of Beckett and Val's heists from before they met up with Han and co. How'd they get out of a close call in the past? What sort of quarries have they gotten for Vos before? (Or other masters?) How did their first job go?

Stranded on a Desert Island: I would love to see these two wind up crash landing on a planet and actually getting a sort of happy ending, as they gradually realize that rescue isn't coming and they've kind of been forced into retirement. How does it feel to no longer be on one last big job? do they relax at all? What sort of stuff is going on?

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: I would love to see if the reason Val (if she survives) and/or Beckett think that Qi'ra is bad news because they had run into her before. Did she have force sensitive powers, and that's why they stay way? What sort of reasons might they have to suspect this?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor
Canon Divergence AU: Oh, break my heart, but I would love to see what might have happened in Solo if Val had survived and not Beckett. Beckett teaches Han to be cynical with his don't trust anyone, but on the other hand, Val seems more sympathetic about love, and correctly pointing out that Han is doing what he's doing for a girl. Would she encourage L3/Qi'ra to choose their own paths with the people they  loved? How would Beckett's death have changed her?

Qi’ra (Solo):

Qi'ra is the noir Star Wars girl of my dreams and I always want to know more about her - how did she make her name? Everyone but Han seems to know she's bad news, and Dryden hints she's done some dark acts. What if she went further down that road? What if she becomes Maul's apprentice? Her history post-Solo seems to be mostly unknown so I'd very much like to know exactly what it is that she could, potentially get up to. What becomes of her? Where is she in Rebels?

I ship Qi'ra with pretty much everyone on screen with her in Solo.

Does she eventually pull one over on him? Is he, in fact, the target she's actually planning on taking down? I'd love to see Qi'ra triumphant.

Stranded on a Desert Island: Qi'ra is someone who clearly has been trapped into the world that she is stuck in Solo. She doesn't seem to have any method of escape but to gain more power and try to survive longer than her masters — but what if she crashed on an abandoned planet and no longer had to worry about vying for power? What might Qi’ra’s growth be like? How would she potentially handle being rescued?

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: Yes, please. I would love to see Force-Sensitive Qi'ra, trying to learn how to be a Sith from Maul. I would love to see any lesson, especially one that might involve sex — would Qi'ra dub-con Maul into it in an attempt on gaining power? Would he use it to help teach her some of the lessons of the Sith? What might their relationship be like?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor:  Oh, break my heart, but I would love to see what might have happened in Solo if Val had survived and not Beckett. Beckett teaches Han to be cynical with his don't trust anyone, but on the other hand, Val seems more sympathetic about love, and correctly pointing out that Han is doing what he's doing for a girl. Would she encourage Qi'ra to choose her own paths with the person she loved? How would Beckett's death have changed her?

Canon Divergence AU:  I would love to see what might happen to Qi'ra had she not left Han at the end of Solo, or perhaps not lied to him. Could she have gotten him to continue working for Crimson Sun, manipulating him into a useful pawn while feeling sick about it?

Group: Qi'ra/Han Solo (Solo)

I'm so happy that Qi'ra wasn't Leia 2.0 and I would love to see a meeting between Han and Qi'ra after Solo, once Qi'ra makes the choice to take off without him. I love the idea of them coming together at odds from where they were — where Han is not the good guy shining in the darkness, when Qi'ra is all too aware Han knows who she really is, and how they resolve their views of one another with their childhood memories.

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see how Qi'ra might handle a heist freed of anyone's hand on her shoulder. Would Maul give her more room, or dictate the terms to her? Would he make sure she didn't choose anyone who might threaten him — and would Qi'ra counter with Han as someone who could be put on the team? What would their team-up look like if she tried to play him against Maul? Does she eventually pull one over on Han, or do they succeed against Maul? Can Qi'ra or Han trust one another during this con?  Also any and all elaborate cons Lady Proxima might have made them do on Correllia, especially if Han or Q'ra got to wear a fancy dress.

Stranded on a Desert Island:
I would love to see something where Qi'ra and Han both crash land after Solo on a deserted island and find one another there (perhaps  Han and Chewie see the distress signal and come in to scavenge/offer a ride only to crash land due to the same issues that the ?). Where did they go? What sort of fractures appear in their relationship? Do they wind up getting over those fractures, or do they wind up just awkwardly working through it while trying not to let their feelings for one another show?

Qi'ra is Maul's Sith Apprentice: I would love to see Han decide he is going to rescue Qi'ra from Maul, and Qi'ra feeling beautifully conflicted about it: Han means well, but he can't give her the power Maul can. On the other hand, she would probably be happier being a scrapper with Han than Maul, but I can't see Qi'ra deciding to give up the life she has out of worry that she will always answer to another master. Power in Star Wars always corrupts and Qi'ra is no exception. If she rejects him, how does he take it? If she goes with him, how does Maul react, and how does Qi'ra take being in service to the hutts and other slimy villains of the underworld in order to earn her bread?

Val survives instead of Beckett and becomes Han's mentor: I feel like Val would have vastly different lessons to teach Han.. She seems very soft on love and correctly notices that he is doing what he is doing for a girl, so — what would their relationship be like when he finds the girl? Would she encourage Han to seek the girl? Would she encourage Qi'ra to run away with Han? Would she run the same gambit that Beckett does at the end, getting shot by Han? Or would she change the plan?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see any of the roads not taken for Qi'ra and Han. What would have happened if Qi'ra got out, and Han didn't? Would she try to go back for him, or would she have simply lived her life, figuring that is what Han wanted? If he did ever get off the planet, how would he react when they met up again? What might have happened if Qi'ra was honest at the end of Solo about leaving, and Han offered to go with her? What might happen if they met again in the OT, or even the ST — would they even been on the same side anymore? How would either of them deal with that?

Power Rangers

Group: Kimberly Hart & or / Katherine Hillard

I'd love to see something that deals with the ways the universe could have shifted for these girls. What if Kat had come to the states earlier, and Rita had used her for a different plan? How might that affect her relationship with the pink ranger? What if Kimberly died during MMPR when Kat and the bad guys were draining her life force, and Kim haunts Kat? I'd love to see some darker edges of this; as a children's TV show, they were rarely brought to the front, but I think there are some excellent plotlines to be made of it.

Character Who Survived In Canon Died And Is Getting Revenge From Beyond The Grave:
I know this is a children's TV show but as I grew up I couldn't help but wonder about what this might have looked like in its darker form; after all, the story is actually kind of bleak (old wizard tells children they cannot tell anyone they are child soldiers drafted for war;  two old, eviler wizards target said child soldiers for death). I'd love to see an AU of what might have happened had Kimberly actually died in Season 3 - I found it terrifying as a kid and the idea that the bad guys would simply run a teenage girl to exhaustion terrified me when I was 9. I'd love to see how Kat, who herself is being manipulated by Zedd/Rita, might have taken this. Would she be haunted by her part in murdering Kim? Would Kim really be haunting her, or would it be her own guilt complex? What might her "haunting" entail? (Please feel free to turn the relationship in whatever turn you wish; lesbian/bi Kim/Kat where Kat was manipulating Kim or Kim & Kat that more closely resembles that happens in canon or Kim seducing Kat from beyond the grave are all good flavors.)

PR: Kat was the Mighty Morphin' Green Ranger: I would love to see what might have happened in a Tommy-less rangers, where Kat was tapped far earlier to become the Green Ranger. How would her relationship with Kim work? Would they flirt as much as Tommy and Kim? How might Kim help Kat to join her as part of the Mighty Morphin' team? Would the team accept her as much as they had once accepted Tommy, or would there be more hesitance?

Canon Divergence AU:
I would love to see anything that has Kimberly and Kat meeting up again post-canon. What types of adventures might they have? is there any awkwardness over how Kimberly left the team? I'd particularly like to see them meet up where one or both of them has not achieved everything they thought they would have achieved, where one or both of them are unhappy, still seeking a position that is even one tenth as important as what they held as teenagers. I would love to see them find comfort in one another in this, whether or not it is temporary. Do they have withdrawals from their powers? Do they miss playing heroes? Are they relieved to no longer have the world on their shoulders, or just scared to no longer be in the "know" as to what is happening?

Crossover Fandom

Group: Darth Vader & Leia Organa & Luke Skywalker (SW) & Fran Fine (The Nanny)

I honestly just would love to see what might have happened had Darth Vader had Fran Fine to kind of nudge him into fatherhood training. After all, the guy has almost no experience in children and his first canonical meeting with his child, he chopped their arm off! Clearly he needs the guidance of a nanny from Flushing who could show him how to actually treat his children — whether they are actual children or, instead, adults, is up to you, but I just want to see what might happen.

Canon Divergence AU
Luke Skywalker is raised by Darth Vader
Leia Organa is raised by Darth Vader: I
would love to see either a gloriously hilarious or crack-played-straight version of what might happen to Darth Vader, single father. What kind of travails does being the top of the Imperial Navy and a single father mean Darth Vader suffers through? Are the kids frustrated by their dad whose face they cannot see 99 percent of the time? Do the kids inherit Anakin's...Anakin-ness, i.e. finding trouble in any way possible? Do the kiddos act out, pulling pranks on the senior brass? Are Tarkin and other power breakers trying to get Vader to leave the damn tots at home? How does Vader decide he needs a nanny, and how does he decide its Fran? Is it literally grabbing someone out of the local concession counter, or does Star Wars! Fran have some sort of charm with Luke and Leia?

Anakin raises the twins and uses light sabers as life day decorations: Because...he would. Absolutely. Yes. I just...I just want to know what happens, and which of the twins gets the marshmallows, and how in the name of the Empire the accident report for this is filled out.

Group: Leia Organa (SWOT)/Qi'ra (Solo)

I think both Amilyn and Qi'ra are of a kind: both are women who hold power, despite having appearances that belie their power. Both are glam, full-ball gown kind of girls, but they're also not unfamiliar with war and more than willing to kill if need be. I'd love to see something that explores what happens when game recognizes game here - what sort of relationship would they have there? Would Qi'ra's more nebulous morals anger Amilyn, or would she find them intriguing? Would Qi'ra envy Amilyn's ability to so easily take a stand and not care what others think?

Bad Future:
I would love to see where Leia and Qi'ra might have ended up in an Empire Triumphant! AU. Perhaps Leia has to appeal for Qi'ra for protection? I would love to see what might happen when Leia is reduced to having to run jobs for a crime boss - and jealous, perhaps, that Qi'ra isn't as bothered by the Empire being on top. I would love to see Qi'ra flirting with Leia and trying to gently correct her from making Han's mistakes - what lessons might Qi'ra teach her? Would Qi'ra seduce Leia? And if so, how?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love to see Leia recruiting Qi'ra for running a heist for the Rebellion. How would Qi'ra feel about working with Leia? What kind of job would they both do during the heist? Would they continue to work together? Would they continue to work together? What sort of adventures would they have?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what might happen if a Qi'ra who is a Sith lady (Maul's apprentice?) offered to train Leia. What might her lessons be? Would Leia accept? How would the original trilogy change if Leia was learning of the force while Luke was — but in a vastly different philosophical sect?

Group: Enfys Nest (Solo)/Leia Organa (SWOT)

Leia and Enfys seem so much two of a kind: both idealistic, both willing to fight for the freedoms they value, both, to some extent, ends-justify-the-means characters. I would love to see something where they are fighting for the rebellion together (or conflict between two different rebel cells?). How do they both deal with fighting on after their parents have been killed in the name of the cause? What sort of trouble could they get into? Is there conflict between their morals?

Bad Future: I would love to see what might happen to Enfys and Leia in an Empire Triumphant! AU. Does Enfys shelter Leia with her group? Do they still try to continue the fight in their own way, waiting for the next chance to strike against the Empire? What sort of work do they do? How do they fall in love? Is that love a comfort against the tyranny hanging over their daily lives?
'
Ocean's Eleven-esque heist:
I would love to see these girls screw over the Empire in a glorious girl-group heist, especially if it involves Leia on a Sky-Speeder or Enfys helping Leia create her mask. How might these two come to fight together? Who else is in their group? What are they after from the Empire and how does it aid the rebellion?

Canon Divergence AU: I would absolutely love to see what might have happened had Enfys actually been a part of the rebellion. What would she do when Leia was captured? How might they both have acted on missions? What is it like to date a commander in the Rebellion? Would they go gah gah over one another or would they be v. professional in regards to their relationship?

Group: Amilyn Holdo (SWST)/Qi'ra (Solo)

We already know Leia likes the scoundrel types, and Qi'ra's always attracted to good guys, so why not a literal hero of the rebellion? I'd love to see something that examines the differences between them in terms of their goals: both seek power, but for very different ends. Would Leia, raised in the lap of luxury, really understand Qi'ra's desire to never go back to Correllia? Would Qi'ra get frustrated by Leia's morals and feel her desire to re-make the universe impractical? How would they meet?

Bad Future: I would love to see what might happen to Qi'ra  and Amilyn do in an Empire Triumphant! AU. Does Enfys shelter Amilyn with her group, or is Amilyn giving Enfys' group shelter on her planet? Do they still try to continue the fight in their own way, waiting for the next chance to strike against the Empire? What sort of work do they do? How do they fall in love? Is that love a comfort against the tyranny hanging over their daily lives?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist
: I feel like Amilyn would absolutely throw down for a heist and I want all the details of it: what are they stealing? how do they steal it? And most important, the thing I want to know by far the most: What is Holdo's role? We know she's capable of being somewhat unorthodox and can be tricky, so I would absolutely love to see what role she would fill. Would she get off on Qi'ra working with her? What do they do with their gains?

Canon Divergence AU: I would love to see what might happen with force sensitive Qi'ra and Holdo. What would it be like to meet another force sensitive in their roles? Would Amilyn try  to encourage her to use her powers for good? Would she have more unorthodox attitude toward Jedi/Sith than Leia/Luke and co? What sort of thrill might she feel coming this close to such a dangerous current?

Group: Lando Calrissian (SWOT) & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (SWST) & Han Solo (SWST)

I would love to see something about Lando when Ben is growing up. I feel like the Last Shot novel really does imply they had some sort of relationship and I'd love to see Lando's take on Ben — either before or after his fall. I don't see a lot of Kylo and Lando, and I've love to see what he thinks of Han's kid basically becoming Darth 2.0. I'd also love to see an AU where Lando wound up taking Ben with him, instead of Luke taking him - how might that have changed all their lives? Does he ever work with the First Order or the Resistance? How does he talk to Han or Leia about the Ben-shaped hole in their lives?

Bad Future: I mean for these guys this is basically canon, but I'd love to see some angst ripping my heart out. Does Han talk to Lando about the kid? How might their relationship change as Ben slips closer and closer to the dark side? Were there any warning signs they ignored, bad choices that became obvious only in hindsight? How much responsibility do they each feel? what kind of role does Lando have post-Rebellion but pre-Resistance in the Solos' lives?

Ocean's Eleven-esque heist: I would love Lando or Han kind of dragging the other two into it. Sure their buddy is retired and the kid is literally the greenest thing since Endor, but Lando/Han is confident this is going to work out. What's the con? What do they do? How do they ever agree to get Ben in on it — or is Ben, perhaps, the one who starts it? Is Ben, in fact, a kind of criminal savant, the inheritor of all of his father's slippery tricks but none of his father's temperament? Do the Solos/Calrissian(s) wind up closer at the end of the heist than the beginning?

Canon Divergence AU:
I would love to know what might have happened where Ben grew up with Lando after things went south with his parents, not Luke. How does Ben, now working under Uncle Lando, change? Is Snoke robbed of his power when Ben never gains Jedi training? Does Lando manage to break through for Ben in ways that Luke couldn't? What sort of relationship might Han and Leia have with Ben in this AU, and what sort of  relationship does Ben have with Lando? Is he not enthused about this plan but finds his place, or is Ben all too willing to leave home?
