acequeenking: Persephone - Dante Gabriel Rosetti (WW boss)
Dear Writer and or Artist,

First of all, I would like to thank thank you so much for looking at my letter! I hope that you will have fun writing or drawing any of my requests. I like a wide variety of fic/art, and I'm a huge multi-shipper. While I've highlighted general likes and dislikes, I'm always interested in new interactions between my favorite characters. If you are wondering "Can I write it this dark/this fluffy/this different/this silly/this...this" the answer is yes. If it's not in my DNWs, please take it in whatever direction you like. I try to leave a lot of prompts to give you something to work with, but you are not beholden to do any of them.

I should mention that I am a recent convert to the DCEU; I saw Wonder Woman and kind of became obsessed with it, so most of my prompts have to do with this. I've also seen the Nolan Batman movies, Bat-Man v. Superman, and all the nineties Batman films.

Art-Specific Likes:

  • I'm good with pretty much any art style. I'm not an artist, but I love pretty much every fan art medium, from black and white pencil sketches to 3D manips.
  • Costume redesigns, whether a re-tweak of a canon outfit or a whole new set of clothes.

  • Fighting characters in canon doing battle poses, fighting, firing guns, or post-battle TLC
  • Characters taking a moment out for themselves, eg reading, relaxing, cooking, etc.

Do Not Want:

  • A/B/O

  • Scat/urine/vomitplay

Requests:

Relationship:Diana Prince/The Chief and Diana Prince & The Chief

I feel like these two have a lot in common. Both of them are from cultures that are being rapidly displaced, and neither of them can exactly go home again. I'd love to see a post-Steve Diana moving on, learning more about humans with The Chief. I feel like they'd both understand loss, and Diana would be rather interested in trying to help the Chief's people, since Diana is a one-woman Justice machine, or perhaps she'd take an interest in native american antiquities, and this might lead her to the Lourve? Basically, I'd love to see anything post-WW where these two are learning to move on in a world where they're increasingly viewed as irrelevant and pushed to the margins. Especially if Diana realizes this and decides she isn't going to let that happen.

I'd very much enjoy a romantic story between the two of them, but I'm also open to a friendship fic. Either way is good, as long as we have some Chief & Wonder Woman comfort/fighting the good fight/moving on.

Relationship: Isabel Maru/Diana Prince

I'd been interested in seeing what might happen between these two ever since Diana was holding a tank above her head! Ares rants about how Maru is a perfect example of human weakness, since she creates her weapons of war of her own will, but Diana seems to reject this premise. I can see her wishing to help Maru move on, since she has been treated badly. Maru on the other hand, would likely resent Diana; perfectly beautiful and perfectly powerful, she's the complete package in an effortless fashion that Maru can't replicate. But, gradually, I think Diana could charm anyone; what sort of things would she do to try to help Maru?

If you want to write something super period, I'd love to see how Maru copes with WWII/the Rise of Hitler, and does Diana help her escape Germany?

If you're going on the smutty side, I'd love to see Diana helping Maru see herself in a better light, since her injuries seem to be a rather sore subject.

Relationship: Diana Prince & Etta Candy

My request for this is simple: please, please write Etta and Diana as suffragettes. Etta seems to embrace feminism wholeheartedly (or as whole-heartedly as a woman in the 1910s can) and Diana is always interested in injustice. I feel like Diana would be outraged by the inequalities of women in their society and would do anything to try to fix them. Combine this with British early feminism's use of classical-inspired art in their publications and the rather militant tactics of British suffragettes in the 1910s, and you have a cause that seems all-but-made for Diana.

If history-heavy fic or art isn't your thing, I'd also love to see Etta helping Diana get used to the modern world; teaching her how to go to grocer's, do laundry, etc. - basically everyday tasks that having a magical whip can't solve.

Character: Charlie

Poor Charlie. Poor, poor Charlie. A shellshocked man in a time before that diagnosis was ever really known, let alone socially accepted, Charlie seems to be struggling to keep himself sane. How does he handle the rest of WWI? What sort of ghosts does he see? How do the other members of his group manage to help him - if at all? If he makes it to peace-time, how does he feel about that? Or the build-up to World War II?

Since he would likely be too old to be drafted in World War II, what would he do there? Would he be a firewatcher during the Blitz, or hold another job in the Civil Defense? Or would he be just one of the huddled masses, certain that he's seeing hell on Earth?

Relationship: Diana Prince/Ares

I'm always, always, always a sucker for villainy victorious. Ares manages to convince Diana that they're better creatures than the humans, and that the human condition is inherently flawed. Does she accept this offer willingly, or does she have to be bribed into doing it? If she accepts his offer, how do these two ride out World War I/II? How do Ares and Diana change through the years?

What sort of lessons does he teacher her - and how does she handle the new lessons in godhood? And, given that they're the last of the Olympians, and, well, the Olympians have certainly never raised an eyebrow at incest, how does Diana react to her uncle's seductions? Does he try to compare her to the other gods?  I basically want dirty-bad-wrong immortal seduction, both physical and philosophical.

Relationship: General Ludendorff/Isabel Maru

Another one I'd like to see for unequal relationships and dirty-bad-wrong seduction. Maru is clearly thirsty for a man's approval, and Ludendorff is more than willing to give it to her - provided she continues to be useful for him. I'd love to see him trying to manipulate her into absolute loyalty; basically gas-lighting her into believing no one else would ever believe in her, find her beautiful, etc. Whether Maru breaks free of that is up to you or not.

Alternatively, I'd love to see their relationship played straight; two equals who find a passion in war-time technology and one another. Maybe Ludendorff really does think what she does will end the war quicker and appreciates her brilliance and devotion, and maybe Maru day-dreams about being together in a war that won't happen outside of her imagination. But either way, there's a not-quite-equal relationship, and a desperation for results that drives both parties.

 Relationship: Diana Prince/Lois Lane

I really think these two would get along like a barn on fire. Lois is a reporter, dedicated to bringing attention to pressing issues and injustices in their world; Wonder Woman is a one-woman army and an art historian. Both have a lot of interest in history, both have an interest in the issues going on. I'd love to see Lois on assignment with Diana, and falling in love with the literal Amazon.

I'm also interested in seeing some of the practicalities that come with dating super-powered virtual deities; maybe Diana gets injured and Lois has to step up and save her? Maybe Lois goes with Diana to Themyscira and the trip gives her some inadequacies about how can she possibly be enough of a woman to satisfy Diana? I'm very interested in seeing how dating someone who is at least half-god might affect the human partner.

Relationship:Diana Prince/Sameer

Sameer seems to have a thing for a woman who could kick his ass. I'd love to see him encountering Wonder Woman several times over the years, each time seeing her kick ass and being super-turned on. Whether this turns into kinky sex or is just Sameer's favorite fantasy, I'd love this to be something he secretly looks forward to every time he hears about her on the battlefield. I'd love to see him actually looking forward to assignments just for the chance of seeing her. (And Wonder Woman, as always, appreciating his company.)

I'd also love to see Diana absolutely entranced by Sameer's work as an actor, even if she can't quite understand why he isn't in big productions. Maybe Diana's thoughts about seeing Sameer do roles in some of the great Greecian classics: Aeschylus' plays, Sophocles' works, Euripedes social critiques, etc... What does she think about seeing someone so modern do works that she must have known from her childhood? Does her opinion of Sameer change after having seen him play a part in such works?

Character: Diana Prince

I'd love anything and everything to do with Diana making her decision to stay in the modern world, rather than going back to Themyscira. Why does she stay with humanity? Does she ever wish to go back? Does she ever go to let her mother and the other amazons know she defeated Ares, at least? How does Diana change the course of human history? How much of her "origins" is known to the public - does she keep her wonder woman persona a secret? How do her views on humanity change over the years? What does she miss from home, and what modern wonders would she like to never do without again?
